The concept is that once u eat a devil fruit, the devil from the fruit transfers in you giving you Powers. If you eat another fruit the other devil clashes with the devil inside of you and while doing so destroy your body from the inside. So luffy cannot eat another fruit

When you eat a devil fruit,its the devil that gives u power. Byt when you eat 2 dwvil fruit, the 2 devils fights each other making the body a battlefield. Thus the eaters body gets destroyed. Also luffy will die if he eats another devil fruit. But it doesn't matter for him. As. His awakened devil allows him to make imagination into reality, he can use any devil fruit powers he want. Also remember that, luffys devil fruit is called the father of all devil fruit.

I theorize that you need to physically eat a piece of that person to take their devil fruit. For the sake of theming, I would say, it’s their heart specifically. Blackbeard is not the only person to steal a devil fruit. Big mom stole the devil fruit of her adoptive mother, and while we didn’t explicitly see how, I think we all know that she ate her.

Its not possible as when the two devils are in a body of a person, they fight eachother and both end up killing eachother which causes the explosion... That means if luffy ate another devil fruit after the inflation he wouldn't have any devil fruit powers left and wouldn't inflate but explode as the devil of sun god nika would also die

I think luffys fruit should be rumble fruit (what Enel has) Because enel should be dead by now in the series because he went to the moon without anything, which will make his head explode from the air and gravity

I think this only happens if you eat 2 of the same types. BB ate 2, one pramecia and one logia… and he’s fine. I think the rumour or myth actually did happen but it’s because they ate 2 logia or 2 zoan.

I think he should get the lightning fruit because he can already grab lightning out of the sky as shown with the gear five end of 1072 so I think he would manipulate lightning more often when he’s using gear four gear five.

Actually thats not going to be the case because lot of logia can deform and form again if thats the case and even buggy can be cut into pieces and brought back. And black beard didn’t take more than two which makes that one an exception for some reason we dont know yet. Maybe its not even his own power rather the soul or a part of white beard alive in him.

If luffy ate a second devil fruit it would be ice ice fruit cause just imagine you use a rubber ability and you just freeze your enemy at the same time if you can it would be broken cause attacking like a frozen punch it would punch and freeze your enemy and then you can throw him off by using gum gum baloon and push him off
