Part 2 would be great... possibly seeing something of Vader's return to being Anakin while Luke and the Rebellion fight Thrawn. Something like his defeat combined with Palpatine's death makes him rethink things and question a lot of what he'd done in his life. It could still have Luke finding a way to bring out Anakin's personality again as part of the fight against Thrawn or something else... where Vader runs into someone else that sparks that kind return to the light while wondering over things and in ways he doesn't expect.

It;s one of the things that I always liked about the old EU (now Legends) books is how they focused on Luke exploring his potential, his kindness and compassion, and how with the teachings of Yoda and Obi-wan as brief as in general sense they were and it still allowed him to reach the height of both the understanding of the true mission of the Jedi and getting to know his power, and capabilities within the Force! In those old EU books we see him truly become to live the path of the Jedi and being simply put....a hopeful good guy who always strives to do what's right!

Luke being trained from birth likely would have made him a bigger target. Vader at this point was effectively the ultimate jedi killer and Luke learning that same dogma would have spelled his doom. Vader and Palpatine would have destroyed ahsoka, Obi-Wan and Luke. Wouldn't be a contest of we are being honest.

Oddly enough, this would’ve made luke weaker in the long run. Luke only achieved the things he did, the things that were believed impossible by any jedi or sith, because he wasn’t taught the way of any. He did it because he didn’t think it impossible. I do agree with you, though even if he's the most powerful, he could still potentially be stronger. His tank is higher than any other jedi, but at the same rate its still not full if that makes sense

Obi-Wan Kenobi: Defeated Maul and anakin (twice as vader) Was apprentice to one of the most powerful jedi Survived order 66 Trained the chosen one Lost the love of his life right in front of his eyes Watched his master get cut down in front of him Got betrayed by his clones that he classed as his brothers Lost all his jedi family he grew up with Watched his brother anakim burn on front of him on a lava bank, broken by what he just did to anakin Kenobi’s life was deep and he still stayed true to himself and never turned to the darkside.. kenobi is kinda like the captain america of starwars
