Yeah this is an underrated aspect. The relationship between Minato and the Uchiha was nice. They were ride or die just because Minato was the only one in the leaf government that didn't hate them

He probably did during Naruto's childhood when he wasn't as capable. But Minato does realize how strong Naruto is so he probably stopped doing it as a "I trust you as my child to be safe and come home."

From what I've seen with the Amagi's what if's they always have a subtle or not so subtle theme with the story. Wouldn't call it character bullying more like a lesson. Even a legend can struggle and fall from grace but they can also redeem themselves.

While i do agree that nobody should've went through the suffering that this Minato did, i still like that the writers tried to humanize him, showing that even he has flaws and that he was a person like anyone else. There are some things he couldn't control and in the end he managed to redeem himself from his past actions. It makes him seem like a more interesting character to me than simply viewing him as some legend.

Suffering loss like Minato did in this story makes it understandable to how he acted. Grief is a terrible thing to go through. Especially when you're burdened by a mountain of expectations. I found this short story to be very human
