@@ethanabecasis4579 That's a very controversial conversation. We could go on and on about how basketball is a team sport, but at the end of the day if were comparing a singular person against an entire team I find it very difficult. I wouldn't put one above the other other than in their plane statistics especially since their both from two completely different generations. Its like comparing Lebron and MJ to me yes Lebron has overall better statistics but to say he's a better player would disgrace the name of MJ.
There's a difference in being drafted to a team and just teaming up with your buddies to try to make a super team. And two of LeBrons rings came on short seasons. Old school believed in competition and proving they're best player. You can't do that when you try to get all the best players on your team
It was dog eat dog, prove you're the best. Played injured, no rest days... the schedule was like baseball, they played at night then the next day. Not 3 days of rest. Good heavens!!
7:03 Idk about that Bird definitely accomplished more than KD, but he had a harder peak. Plus he was a better defender making all defensive teams. Some people still say he is the greatest SF of all time (like Jordan). Respect your opinion tho. Plus KD played on the Warriors the second best team in NBA history and had no competition in the finals. KD definitely had a lot of help. Plus in the 80s and 90s the east was stronger than the west.
Wes Mathews played on the Showtime Lakers. And yes, he is Wesley Mathews’ father. I must be old or you must be just a video gamer who don’t really know as much nba history as some might think. Love the video.
That wasn’t a trash year in 83. MJ was just that dude. Legendary Coach Bobby Knight said it 1st. He’s the greatest basketball player I have ever seen. 🐐 in 83 to Present! 💣
What if you did an MJ video where he has all the greatest role players/non scorers of all time on his team. Like Stockton(passer), Rodman(rebound/defense), Korver(catch and shooter), Alonzo Mourning (shot blocker), Bobby Jones(perimeter defense), Bill Russell, Igoudala, Draymond, Pat Bev, etc. and then one scorer off the bench as the 6th man, like Jamal Crawford of JR Smith so MJ can get an occasional break. Just to see if MJ can average like 50 and still win ships. Would be cool.
Don't disrespect bird like that. Literally the greatest sf of all time. Better rebounder than both kd and lebron, better post up, just as good a shooter as kd and maybe a better passer than lebron. Also the best clutch shooter of all 3
Just think about this. It would have been Scottie Pippen and Gary, Payton and Shawn Kemp. Because Scottie Pippen was drafted by the Seattle Supersonics.
If you wanna get 80+ wins in a season (if you haven’t already) put Magic and Stockton as your PGs, Jordan and Kobe as SGs, Lebron and KD as your SFs, Duncan and KG as your PFs, and Shaq and Hakeem as your Cs, all on the same team and you should never lose😂😂
2k doesn't seem to like MJ, I'd be tempted to put him on his 95-96 team and see if they even win as much, maybe it will show if they really have nerfed him
Super Team Coach.Redd Auerback ( A' Team)C, Kareem PF,Bill Russell SF Bird SG Jordan PG Magic ✨(B' Team )Coach,Phill Jackson C,Shaq PF,Lebron SF,KD SG,Kobe PG,Steph.
Jeez dude, why stop at those three? Add Wilt and Lebron to the starting lineup. Hell, just have Kareem, Kobe, Dr. J, Stockton, Reggie Miller come off the bench.
Vid idea: make an expansion team and make everyone a 99 potential Vid idea: make a AI career simulation Vid idea: put Kobe and Tim Duncan or Kareem together Vid idea: put Kobe and lebron vs Jordan and magic in a league see who does better Day 5 make sure to put start peak at 28 or higher
I think you missed the point on Majic not playing with Jordan........ Magic Johnson Larry Bird Michael Jordan did not want to join a stack team but that do not permit management from drafting or getting the players they need because that was their job that's how magic got players like Kareem and Worthy,,,, trust me if the Lakers could have drafted Michael Jordan they would have and there would have not been anything Magic Johnson could have done about it
For context I was rasied on the Jordan era. Grew up obviously a Bulls fan. Now you claimed to be a Pistons fan and when you say let's see if everyone is here you mention Isiah obviously I guess mentioning the thug Lambier is ok but how as a Pistons fan you gave no mention of Dumars was or wasn't on the team. That dude was the glue that held them together. No Dumars =no rings. Give him some props man. Smh Bulls fan had to call you out on that. Shame
Magic did not go to a superteam. What are you talking about? Kareem hadn't won a title In 9yrs. BTW he had 2 rings before worthy got there. Make it make sense.
Kareem has done too much for the community for you to just leave it as he's unlikable. The way we love Lebron for speaking up for injustice, kareem was a pioneer to that. Read "On the shoulders of Giants" and see what he used his platform to promote. Lebron and him have so much in common than just alot of points.
dont know if it would work. bc Magic and MJ had such egoes. Not to say that Bird didnt, no doubt he did, but i think he would have unfortunately been pushed to be the 3rd, which would have taken away from his greatness.
