One is the swarm type route, with Naofumi being able to control and direct large groups of bugs and using them as his Legendary Weapon, unlocking new bug types via breeding, discovery, and/or having them absorb materials. The second option is the enhancement type route, with Naofumi being able to take on the properties of various bugs, sort of like a racial skill tree. You could also use this enhancement option as Naofumi's personal skills that unlock over time, or as part of his Cursed Series. Hell, I can even add a new take on it; the Logos Cursed Series, where Naofumi's morals and ethics are suppressed in favor of the methodical, indifferent, and almost robotic mindset of a bug Now, to the uninitiated, both of these options sound weak and would require a lot of creative liberties be taken to make Naofumi's abilities even remotely impressive, but let me give you a few examples.
