The sharingan and mangeykyo sharingan are activated through strong emotion more specifically hate . Tobirama stated " the uchiha are a clan that can feel more love than any other clan, that's y they r so dangerous. This love transforms to hate (in this case danzo killing Narutos family) in a drastic event causing the awakening of the sharingan, the stronger the hate the stronger they get ( sharingan, mangekyo sharingan)" so yes the sharingan won't change him but the uchiha blood line itself will
