Beerus wants the best challenge he could possibly get out of the Saiyans and Earthlings and Goku at this point is probably the 4th or 3rd strongest there and I feel like the earthlings especially would convince Goku that Vegeta would be the safest option to use the ritual on

I've been praying that In the main series they have him come across the Namekian book of Legends and he gets some crazy new power or transformation attained from some kind of insanely intense 6 month long meditation. He definitely would, but probably not with quite the same intensity or drive. He'd be training without a significant or clear goal, after all. Still some motivation, and definitely still some training. Just, not the same level of urgency.

It's kind of the same as how goku and the humans still trained over the 5 years before z, but didn't receive nearly as big a boost as they did training much harder and to greater extremes to prepare for the saiyans.

I say kind of because the example I used had them all training under new masters, which had some influence for sure, but for example the humans started at around the same level or a bit lower than goku did when he trained with kami, but grew much stronger in only a year than he did in 3 years of training with kami. Like literally 3 or 4 times as strong in a third of the time under the same teacher, without the bonuses of saiyan biology. Which I always attributed to a combination of having more training partners, and training nuch more urgently with the fate of the world at stake.

And they don't let them transform. And they bring tien's multi technique having ass in and y'know provide him with energy cause his techniques only need a little more power to do damage to powerful foes.

*Saiyan + Freeza Sagas:* Krillin cuts everyone in half. Goku never dies against Raditz, Vegeta is dead, nobody knows that Super Saiyan is a thing. Freeza comes to Earth instead of Namek and gets cut in half by Krillin. *Android Saga:* Goku dies of a heart virus. Gero built resistance to light flashes into 19 and 20 since he knew about the combo, but Piccolo holds 19 in place with his stretchy arms (yeah Piccolo seems to forget about those too) so Krillin can cut him in half anyway. Tien gets 20 into a full nelson and Gohan cuts him in half (they're smart, Krillin taught everyone the Kienzan. It can't be too hard if both Vegeta and Freeza managed to rip it off after seeing it once.) 20 never activates 17 and 18. Tien is revived with the Dragon Balls, making him the only person (outside of those who died in DB) to die so far. Who the fuck is Trunks? Past Cell is still alive... *Buu Saga:* No Vegeta. It simply doesn't happen. Meanwhile, in the afterlife, Goku has gone SSJ1, reached SSJ1 Grade 4/Mastered SSJ/SSJ Full Power. He's also figured out how to combine it with the Kaioken! (There's no reason he can't, considering he can combine it with Blue, which is itself a combination of SSJ+SSJG.) Oh, and he met a Yardrat, who taught him Instant Transmission. *Battle of Gods:* Gets more interesting here. Beerus wakes up, Whis informs him there are 3 living Saiyans and one in the afterlife: Broly, Paragus, Gohan, and Goku. They talk to Goku, who has no clue (gets rocked by Beerus even with SSJ1KKx20, about the same power as the original SSJ3 Goku since this Goku has a weaker base form), Paragus, who's heard the legend but nothing more. (Broly fights Beerus, doing better than SSJ1KKx20 Goku in the original timeline but still not well. Broly being SSJB level is BS, I'm not going with that.) Gohan suggests asking Shenron, who reveals the secret and the balls go inert for one year (this is still Kami's Shenron, since Piccolo never fused with him. They also never met Dende.) They're short two Saiyans, so Gohan reveals that Videl is pregnant. Whis informs them that he senses a strange energy that seems to be part-Saiyan, and they find a larval Imperfect Cell in Gero's basement. Whis does his deus-ex-machina thing and advances Cell to an adult stage of his lifecycle. The Z-Fighters in the ritual want Goku to get the power, as does Broly since he doesn't want it. Paragus wants Broly to have it and Cell wants it for himself. Eventually Goku gets SSJG and it plays out as normal from there... with the exception of Cell sneaking off and hiding his power level. Also, Whis revives Goku at the end, so he can train to fight Beerus again! Chi-chi, Gohan, and Krillin are all ecstatic about this, having been without Goku for a long time now. Gohan has been training a lot more than the normal timeline -- this is a combination of knowing Goku is dead for good (until Whis happens) and knowing that there are threats like Buu (who he never met, but sounds real scary) out there -- so he goes with Goku here. Whis takes Paragus and Broly to wherever in the universe they request as a reward for helping out. *Resurrection F:*Nobody leaves the Dragon Balls unguarded this time. It doesn't happen. *Cell Saga:* No, this isn't an accident! It's happening, just late! Imperfect Cell reaches the lab, and activates and absorbs 17 and 18. He knows this power boost isn't enough to even come close to what Goku is now, though. Cell resorts to something he never thought he'd have to do: training. Having seen Goku do it before (he was demonstrating it to Gohan, but Cell had been there to see it), he knew he could probably reach Super Saiyan. What he wasn't expecting was the Freeza part of him achieving a new form as well! He achieved his equivalent of Golden Freeza: Brass Cell. Even with these stacked multipliers, he's not able to reach the strength of SSJG Goku. (When Perfect Cell went Super Saiyan after exploding, he didn't get the full x50 multiplier, I'm applying the same logic to the Golden transformation.) Cell realizes he needs god ki. But where could he get 5 other people with Saiyan energy? Well, some of the Z-Fighters' smartness up has carried over onto him -- he is part Goku, part Tien, part Piccolo, and part Krillin, after all. He plops out 5 Cell Jrs and has them perform the ritual. Cell, being PERFECT, realizes that Super Saiyan God can be used with Super Saiyan, as well. Brass Super Saiyan God Super Saiyan Perfect Cell has been born, or BSSJBPC for short. (Let's just call him... Emerald Cell. Yellowy brass + blue SSJGSSJ makes green. also yes this is basically resurrection f with cell.) This being is actually STRONGER than Golden Freeza, since it's got god ki and Super Saiyan thrown in there. The smartness from the Z-Fighters also shows here, with Cell choosing to train until he can maintain Emerald Cell for a while before confronting anyone. After 8 months of training (a combination of image training and training against Cell Jrs) he confronts the Z-Fighters. Krillin runs when the solar flare doesn't work -- in his month or so on Earth after Battle of Gods, Goku taught everyone Instant Transmission! Krillin gets Tien, Piccolo, and yes, even Yamcha and Master Roshi join in. They fight Brass SSJ Cell. They can barely touch him. Cell gives them ten days for them to train -- and hopefully find Goku. Piccolo fuses with Kami here, but he's still weaker than original Piccolo due to the lack of Nail. The 2nd fight goes a little better, with Piccolo managing to blow a hole in Cell with a Makankosappo. Then Goku and Gohan get back. Cell instantly leaves the rest of them alone -- he has a programmed urge to kill Goku (thanks a lot Gero) so he starts with Goku first, going Emerald right away. Gohan joins in because he's not an idiot. They're going about even with him, but they're slowly getting worn down. Goku considers trying SSJBKK, but he considers it too risky, as he has not yet mastered SSJB to the degree normal Goku did during the U6 Tournament arc. Instead, he thinks of a technique he and Gohan had been practicing together. He grabs Gohan and Instant Transmissions away to King Kai's planet. "We need to fuse, Gohan." There's no bickering here, since they're smart and not blinded by pride. They fuse into Gokan and Instant Transmission back. The fight is basically as one-sided as Super Vegito vs Buu, with Gokan absolutely destroying Emerald Cell, before obliterating him with an Z-Fighters Kamehameha (Krillin, Yamcha, and Roshi combine their kamehamehas with Gokan's Father-Son Kamehameha.) *U6 Tournament Arc:* It's time for the U6 Tournament! Champa wants the Super Dragon Balls. There are no major differences here, except for Gohan instead of Vegeta (still teaching Cabba because Gohan is a nice guy and knows he can win anyway), and rather than Buu and Monaka they bring along Krillin and Tien because there's no Buu and they aren't idiots. Tien decides to start -- he knows he's nowhere near the level of Goku and Gohan. By the time they get to Hit, only Krillin has been KO'd, losing to Frost's poison. (The smarter Z-Fighters figured it out faster.) Piccolo fights him first, and manages to get a few hits on him with a Hellzone Grenade after figuring out what his ability was. Gohan goes next, attempting to Solar Flare Hit and throw him out. However, at this point, Solar Flare doesn't do much -- Hit can still feel Gohan's energy. Gohan ultimately goes down. Goku goes next, it goes about the same as usual with SSJBKKx10. Now it's Tien's turn. Tien has a few tricks up his sleeve. Notably, the fact the the Kikoho is about as wide as the entire arena. And he's figured out how to point the force sideways. Hit isn't prepared for this attack -- after all, what could this random human possibly hope to do to him, anyway? It connects and he falls out of the ring. The rest of Super... doesn't happen. There's no Future Trunks timeline, and Goku is smart and won't remind Zeno about the tournament.

I mean tbh nothing after the majin buu arc should of happened anyways. I mean trunks before he comes back from the future is done past the point where majin buu wakes up in the main timeline, moro escapes and beerus wakes up. Im dragon ball super when future trunks is even older the only thing that happened is that majin buu was nearly revived Moros magic coming back before he died by his own admission was a thing of luck and beerus just woke up and came to earth because of a dream its safe to say that neither of those things happened in the future timeline and was the result of the butterfly effect from trunks and cell time traveling. This means that after they beat the androids like they did here literally nothing would happen until trunks is in his twenties. There would be no tournament, supreme kai would get them to train them before they fought despite the fact that even trunks who is probably the weakest aside from the humans could probably take debora out already. If they break the sword or not it doesn't matter. They would easily win supreme kai wouldn't die, beerus is not going to bother going to earth, moro likely already died of old age, zamasu is not going to be a issue because he is not beat by goku, does not see mortals using good ki for there own purposes and no one time traveled, zeno never gets the idea to test the universes and even current arc in super has no reason to happen since frieza is dead and there is no info on any saiyans being alive. After beating the androids instead of seven years of peace they should get over two decades of peace before they easily stop the revival of majin buu and then they just get peace forever.

I'm glad Dragon Ball came back, even if we got like 2 shitty arcs, 1 mediocre arc and 2 good arcs out of it, I'm glad it did return.

Naw, I feel that originally Zamasu hated the Gods because they allowed mortals to "infest" their domain rather than just exterminating savage life forms with no dignity. If anything, this tournament would've opened his eyes because he'd realize that a mere mortal (Jaco) made the noble choice of restoring all the universes. Of course he wouldn't have seen the wish in-person (and rather received the news from their angel), but I'd figure the impact would be the same. It's all speculation though!
