Logically speaking Windu should have informed Master Drallig, to lock down the temple and prepare defenses also have Anakin assist in either the defense prep or evacuation of the younglings. This would have given Anakin something to do to keep his mind occupied and distract him from his own thoughts.

He DID have the Jedi Temple locked down after Anakin informed him. But Anakin ran after them, leaving Shaak-Ti and others taking care of it before Sidious corrupted him and he came back with the 501st at his back. No amount of Jedi lockdown was gonna stop Vader's Fist from punching their way into the temple, so...

And in the Old Republic era you have Gnost Dural, who can actually hold a civil and polite philosophical discussion of the Sith Code with Lana Beniko. If more Jedi and Sith were like Gnost Dural & Lana Beniko, the strife between the two orders would likely be far less severe, and the two orders may have been able to actually coexist more or less in peace.

I think the only other Jedi who would have done that would have been Obi-Wan himself. Hell, Obi-Wan knew of Anakin's relationship of Padme even before Anakin fell, and he still kept quiet about it. So other than Plo, Obi-Wan would have been the best person Anakin could have gone to....hence why Palpatine engineered things so that Obi-Wan would be sent after Grievous, so that he *wouldn't* be there for Anakin to turn to for help or advice.

I like the change to who tells him he's not given the rank of master. With all the tension between Anakin and Windu I personally think the council should have realized that and had Yoda tell him in the first place. I've thought this for years and I think he would've took it better like he did in this story. Great story btw

@@nefariousarcher2484Anakin is a master in combat for sure. However, Anakin's temper tantrum proved he was unworthy of the rank of master. Anakin was a bit disrespectful with his emotional outburst. I understand Anakin had a lot of emotional problems but the fact that he let his emotions get the best of him proved he was unworthy of the rank. Anakin could have been given an explanation if he had kept his emotions in check. Anakin should have said, "I am honored to be on this council. However, can you please tell me why I am not granted the rank of master? What do I need to do to prove myself worthy of the rank of master? Please tell me so I can make the effort to improve myself?" If Anakin had said something like that, he could have been given an explanation.

TBF, I think it makes sense though. Maul was too far gone. Anakin on the other hand was fresh and didn't have himself so steeped in it. You don't just spend a decade surviving being cut in half out of sheer spite and hatred for a single individual and then just suddenly turn to the light cause you were given happy pills. Especially not when he also blamed the Jedi for not finding him before Palpatine.

Thing is… bounty hunters in the time of the Empire were basically like super cops under the control of the government. Basically they were under imperial control pretty much, so taking a contract that would make you attack an imperial asset was actually the fastest way to get a bounty on your head.

Especially since Anakin would have done the right thing by going to Yoda to alert him that Palpatine was the Sith Lord they'd been hunting the entire time. Yoda knows that Anakin is a good man at heart, but he's so kind and empathetic that it makes him vulnerable to emotional manipulation by someone like Palpatine. Yoda knows that Anakin is still young and he joined the Jedi at a more advanced age than was normal, so it's natural that Anakin would have more difficulty keeping his emotions in check. Yoda wouldn't judge Anakin for screwing up due to his emotions getting the better of him, he'd simply try to advise and guide Anakin so as to avoid a repeat of that same error in the future.

So basically if Anakin wasn’t corrupted by Palpatine but Palpatine still managed to pull of Order 66 and transform the republic into the Empire. Interesting. Also, it kinda happened in Legends since, as seen the the force unleashed video games and comics, Vader and Sidious “created” the rebel alliance to gather all the enemy of the empire at one place that they could then attack. They just didn’t count in about Galen Marek aka Starkiller coming back to save them and thus fully launching the Rebel Alliance which led to the end of the Empire only 20 years after its creation

I think that the combined kinetic might of plo and ani could potentially beat sidious, but definitely pulverise him with agen kolar and shaak ti added on. Nearly all of them have solid force defences enough not to be ragdolled or damaged much by any force scream or push. Plo and shaak have the abilities enough to commit a counter offensive with the force and the ingenuity to strategise together in the fight. Plo’s Telepathy and ti’s team satellite capabilities enough to end the fight potentially before anything serious happened.

Without a doubt the citizens of the Empire felt the rebellion was evil. The Empire offered stability and succour to them everything they wanted the Empire gave. The Rebellion threatened all of it.The ones who supported the Rebellion were hated by thier neighbors who would turn them in every chance. But in the end it was that same supression that spurred the Rebellion to finish the fight and bring a new senate to the people.

Entire races were enslaved like the wookies or pushed to extinction like the Mandalorians with multiple planetary populations destroyed like what happened on Alderaan and Mandalore. Plo is a lot more calm when it comes to this sort of thing... What a great guy. What if Steela Gerrera survived? What if Tarkin Destroyed Lothal instead of Alderaan? What if Hondo discovered Ezra before the ghost crew? (Pirate Jedi!) What if Palpatine lost his connection to the force? (When trying to turn Yoda, the force would push back.) What if Ezra joined the empire? (Like the what if Luke joined the empire.) What if Sabine Wren stayed with the Empire? (Family abandoned her but the empire didn't) What if Haji fired on the escape pod? (First off, Bolvan would have to do some paper work and then be told later it wasn't necessary anymore as the imperial senate was no longer a factor.) What if Obi-Wan used force heal on Padme? What if Captian Tarkin died at the citadel? What if Asajj Ventress and the Nightsisters successfully assassinated Dooku? What if Anakin was born a women? Kendall Skywalker. What if Anakin died to torture? (I don't know what you mean. -Dooku)

For Anakin to be the most skilled duelist of the Jedi Order. Here is what needs to happen. Qui Gon NEEDS to survive and train Anakin. If Qui Gon survived, Dooku would never have joined Palpatine. Qui Gon could ask Dooku to help Anakin with Lightsaber training from time to time. Also, Qui Gon could ask Obi Wan to spar with Anakin from time to time and help him master the defensive forms. Anakin would have Qui Gon help him master the spiritual aspects of the force while Dooku would be the best teacher to help him with lightsaber training, and Obi Wan would help Anakin master defense.

Plo was such a pure soul, that you could put him in almost any given situation, and he’d improve it purely through the sheer power of positivity and kindness. Ironically; even though he didn’t directly kill him, I’m more mad at Anakin for causing the death of Master Plo, than for the Youngling BBQ not even gonna front.

Not sure I agree with the beginning of the video and Anikin's assessment of "not liking to study" and "not wanting to be a master" he always wanted to be a master. Also with Anikin being away so much longer than in the Movie surely Sidius would have executed Order 66 out of fear. And do you actually think Sidius would have gone down so easily? I'm not sure about that...

All in all an excellent story. How plo handled things was heart warming. Theres only one issue with this story. Anakin using lightning. 1. With his cybernetic arm, he physically cant use that ability. With one hand perhaps. 2. Sith lightning is the manifestation of hatred and specifically intent to kill. Anakin would not have had that in this scenario. Perhaps for sidious. Maybe... I supose i can see that, but its bot something you can just do. Rey doing it breaks all sorts of canon. Screw her. It takes literal years of training to learn. I dont care if anakin was the chisen one... Theres no way he was doing force lightning. If you change that one part, make palpatine try and corrupt him sone other way, then yoyre golden. This is all around a solid story. I feel like it could happen in canon. Unlike most of your other stories.

I've watched a lot of "what if" videos when it comes to Anakin around the time of ROTS and order 66 but this is one of my favourites because it's well thought out and totally in line with how the characters are portrayed. I believe Plo Koon would have been the perfect Jedi to pull Anakin back from the edge of the darkside had it been the will of the force. Obviously it's been stated by George that Anakin would always become Vader no matter what happened but this is why i love the Star Wars fanbase because i believe we come up with the best theories and ehat if scenarios. Its alway fun to speculate.
