This Game Completely Changes Pokémon Battles! 

honestly, a Pokemon action RPG with real time battles (preferably with Tales-like combat) is my dream game. I’m hoping that a Legends game or a spinoff would do this one day

I don’t think they’ll do this for mainline but as a spin-off , it would have been perfect if Pokemon make spin-off titles again and not just mobile

Fun fact: when the game asks you for a catch phrase, if you type a region like sinnoh or kalos for example, you can choose the starters from that region. Also if you press T and say “without objects” the gym leaders won’t use items

In double battles you gotta use the switch button I think to switch between your two active Pokemon. The strat would be to use one Pokemon consuming PP and while it's on cooldown you use the other active Pokemon, then you keep switching back and forward

Ok this game seems cool, my only issue is the 2d grid not locking, meaning yourself and trainers can be halfway between tiles and it just feels wrong

There's actually a limit to how many times you can switch pokémon and use items, which also applies to NPCs. It may not matter in the early game, but in later battles when the AI gets smarter it's easy to run out. Also in double-battles, your second pokémon doesn't attack. You have to press S to switch control.

The only thing that would make this game better and more accurate to the anime would be if you could CATCH A FAINTED POKEMON. WHICH MAKES ABSOLUTE PERFECT SENSE. WHY IS THIS NOT A THING YET?????

It would be much harder, but also better too if Pokémon had real-time battles that would be awesome! I've been thinking Pokémon tried something like that with Legends Arceus where you can move your character at the same time in the battle and in Scarlet and Violet where is the auto battles and you can play as your Pokémon in the game too so I want to believe Pokémon real-time battles are in Pokémon games in the future hopefully in Legends ZA in the next year 2025 just like in this freaking AMAZING looking new Fanmade Pokémon Reloaded game what I really want to try out too, it's really interesting you can play even Ash Ketchum or Gerry Ash's first and best rival and hope you made the playthrough about this awesome game! I'm sure we already have pokemon games though not main series that feature real time battles e.g. pokken, pokemon go & pokemon masters EX 🤣 I think legends arecus's battle system is the closest we have to real time battles

I'll be honest, as intriguing of an idea this would probably end up being I think I might be that rare breed of people that would quit playing mainline Pokémon games if they decide to ditch the turn based RPG elements as the main means of combat. The designs of the characters & Pokémon could end up being total bangers, the story of the game could be brilliant but the battle system could make or break it for me.

*Lots of people saying this game is insanely unbalanced and heavily struggling on the first Gym* Munch usign the most basic pokemon knowledge and balancing his level training: "Yo! I can use as many items as I want. Yo! Look how I sweep them!" *Beates Gym on second try without problem* Btw you can only use 6 items per battle, is how this game is balanced. You beated the gym before he used one lol. Also try to use S key in double battles. The more you get used to it, the better!
