There should just be a realisim mode in rdr2 where about 3 or 2 shots on your chest and 4 shots on your arms and legs and 1 shot on your head is enough and your leg being shot will decrease your speed and waste more stamina trying to sprint
I actually enjoy playing with free aim and first person! With the mini map completely off😂The most dangerous thing is when you get charged by something like a cougar, that’s when dead eye comes in handy
Theres so much effort gone into this, so much time spent, and your editing makes it all engaging and fun to watch. Ive only just come across you and this is the third vid of yours I've watched, and you really deserve more recognition for everything you put in to this.
Difficulty ideas Red not so dead redemption: health items and ammo are abundant, enemies are weaker and you are much harder to kill Easy: you have more health and ammo is plentiful, enemies are slightly less abundant Normal: the game how it is now Hard: you have less health with less health items being found, crafting recipes are generally more costly and money is a bit tighter Realism: any head shot is an instant death and your health is significantly lowered with it regenerating much slower. More enemies spawn which are tougher to kill and less ammo is found. Special health cures are completely absent and other cures are very rare Even just a simple easy normal and hard would be nice but no rockstar is incapable up adding ANY UPDATE at all besides online
I did something similar, with all my combat missions I made sure my aim was almost 100 percent of the time a head shot , and I didn’t allow myself to be critically shot. If I missed a headshot or was shot somewhere where someone couldn’t survive like the face, I would restart the whole mission. 1. Headshots only (unless it felt Cinamatic to not do so) 2. No fatal gunshots 3. I also did No Deadeye for any combat, including quick draws with up to 3+ people. You’d be surprised how hard the game can get not allowing yourself to get shot, and really only hitting headshots without taking serious damage
A lot of the missions can be gold medaled on first try if you realize that you have to always get headshots to get constant kills with the 70/85% accuracy and to always avoid health cures. Dead eye provisions work though.
I'm struggling to even fathom how I'm going to do a mission where I have to steal an oil cart from a kerosene and tar factory. There are just SO MANY guys defending it, I got mercilessly destroyed, the first time I attacked.
Brooo i appreciate your efforts for those 3 Ass mission, wonder how deppressed you are with Dutch, Sadie, and Micah. Dutch is slow, Sadie mislead you and she often died, Micah headshot all the lawman. Maybe if i were you i'd destroy my PC
Always have to laugh when console players talk about aim lmao. Nice vid though, I sometimes play big shootouts with just a pistol in first person only and no deadeye, keeps it pretty fun. Still easy though, coming to rdr2 from csgo
The difficultest missions are one with micah(does not deserve to have a capital letter) other with Dutch , and finally the last mission trying to kill micah , but there is dutch too
@@uncolored2060 it's where if you go to aim the crosshair it dosent automatically lock on to the target you have to manually aim your crosshairs at the target
I subscribed because so many of your videos are hilariously ridiculous-I enjoy the hijinks that follow from the silly constraints you put on yourself in your various challenges! But this one here is just plain impressive. Really fine gameplay! 👏
John:. Im going to kill Micah Abigail: Shit John. Okay, but be careful and bring ammo. John: I cannot, ma'am. Im gonna complete this en hard difficulty.
The hardest missions for me where American venom (kept on dying) Short walk in a pretty town (kept on dying) Uncles bad day (had no tonics and had to use a shotgun to kill the skinners from far away)
No dead eye, for sure... Free aim, yup I get that.... Low health, no doubt, you can tank way too many shots in this game... But no ammo? I don't understand maybe something reasonable like 36 bullets or maybe you can't pick up bullets would be more reasonable as in a gun fight you aren't going to be able to just walk over bullets and acquire them... Spot on though definitely a problem with the game, I have done a free aim speed run and a no dead eye speed run but I was not able to do no dead eye and free aim the game was just too fucking irritating
I really respect this video. I have played a lotta difficult games. I absolutely love RDR2, probably my favorite game of all time; HOWEVER, it could be a lot harder. It is through and through a narrative experience, and I do think that making it as easy as it is was actually a design choice. Arthur is supposed to be really good at killing folks. Does that make for reflective story and put the "Redemption" in Red Dead Redemption 2? Absolutely. Does it feel a little to easy? Again, absolutely. For me, it's a decent balance just because of how fantastic the game is as a whole, but I totally see how for many others it may nto.
Difficulty: Realism New cores: Sleep, Hunger, Thirst and hygiene If sleep goes down you get drunk effect until you sleep If Hunger goes down you take damage slowly and lose stamina more If thirst goes down you will get drunk effect and take damage If hygiene goes down you will get sick and lose core faster No deadeye To gain cores: Sleep: Sleep! Obviously Hunger: eat Thirst: drink Hygiene: bath or shave No tonics and you take more damage
The hardest part of RDR2 is trying to understand Rockstar's pop up instruction box in the middle of a fight. Why the fuck they don't pause the game for you is asinine.
For the amount of realism red dead has, I think the damage should be more realistic, mostly for the player, but NPCs can still run around and shoot you after getting shot in the stomach
@@pepedrop_shop People in real life have taken several gut shots and didn't notice. It's not unheard of. Usually a rifle shot will stagger an NPC. It's just handgun rounds they can take and still keep fighting if I remember correctly. Haven't played the game in a while though. Of course if the combat system isn't to your liking there are lots of realism mods you can install if you're a PC player. I definitely agree that Arthur/John take way too much damage before dying though. No arguments there. But again, there are mods for that if you're a PC player. Life is pretty good over here in the PC world. Just saying.
On PC you can make the game so much realistic with mods, it's really fun... Ragdoll when shot in certain body-parts, bleeding, higher damage, changing NPCs accuracy, more basic needs, etc
I felt ur pain getting gold medals on these missions was hard enough, but adding the restrictions that you added was impossible. I feel so bad and still don’t know how you did it
they should have a hard mode that they don't allow you to use checkpoints or restart missions back in the day (gta) we had to drive all the way back to the mission and start from the beginning. and we had to buy all our weapons again. the controls were much much harder to use
Just turn off auto aim and don't use Dead Eye. This will drive the absolute majority of players out of the game, mainly if they're NOT ON PC (AIMING WITH A MOUSE goes a long way). I had to fine tune the sensibility of my controller like a THOUSAND times until I got it right. Just start a new gameplay and even the goddamn wolves will be prove themselves to be too much for Arthur.
I know this video is old but if you ever do a follow up video you should count all the trees outside the playable map, there's probably more there than in the map
