The original is more Lisa’s style but this version really showcases her vocals, I love it.

maybe it comes down to personal preference but I found the original too harsh and monotonous/repetitive, this version comes off more musical, more interesting with the contrast of the ethereal Tame Impala instrumental and LISA's sharp verses, and overall has more atmosphere. i totally agree though about the MV - truly jaw-dropping editing and cinematography and I would love to see LISA get to celebrate her Thai roots more as a soloist.

i love both versions SO much. i feel like i was ITCHING for this version so i'm so happy you made it, it's impeccable. the original version is super dynamic and the kind of song you dance along to, and the tame impala sample was a point of impact that hit hard because of how isolated it was from the rest of the instrumental. and this version is dreamier; it's more ethereal - like you're floating through fog. it feels like blurry lights in a wong kar wai film haha it's so beautiful. and i love the guitar riff after the bridge and how her voice melts onto it omg. this is so well done eee raahhhh love this!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
