Ron’s taking Cho. They have noone to stop their squabbles about the Tutshill Tornados, so their squabbles turn into infatuation. In this universe, Ron/Cho becomes the new Ron/Hermione.
I was also looking forward to the next installment of this series. However, I wasn't concerned with abandonment, and I don’t recall any topic being left unfinished by SCB in the past. They just need time to write ✍️ ❤
Frank Bryce's fate gets to me every time. He got his leg permanently damaged in the war. After the Riddles' death everyone thought he was a murderer even though he was innocent. He had to live as an outcast for the rest of his life and then was killed by Voldemort just because he was there. So sad and unfair.
That seems highly unlikely. Krum will probably be the one to reach the portkey with Harry and end up dying, just because he originally had the least screentime for the remainder of the books so would create the least amount of deviation... Sorry Krum! Incidentally, since it was originally Krum who got mind controlled in the maze, I guess this time around it might be Ron under the curse and Krum ends up saving Harry from Ron, just to end up dying. Super sad either way but I guess someone has to die...
Hermione sorta belongs in Ravenclaw. And so then Harry sorta belongs in Slytherin, and Ron sorta belongs in Hufflepuff. But I think we have that wrong. Ron is a better fit for Slytherin. He is pureblood. He has ambition to be the best in his family. He has that chess cunning. Many of us associate Slytherins with jealosy and vindictiveness, which fits Ron better than Harry. He abandons the trio, so he is not the most loyal. He is a bit intollerent, so he doesn't fit the ideals of Hufflepuff. But Harry is super loyal. He never abandons anyone (that's sort of his thing). He isn't pureblood; on the contrary, he was raised as a muggle. He embraces Dobby and Lupin and Hagrid, he's very inclusive. He doesn't ask to be in Gryffindor, he only asks to Not be in Slytherin. And as we see in book 7, he is Great at finding things.
I actually love this take! Ron's worst traits are those of Slytherins, and though he certainly isn't super ambitious to reach a super specific goal the idea that he has that desire to actually be recognized and wants to achieve great things is accurate and definitely could point to him being a Slytherin in another universe.
Oh my goodness finally I was starting to wonder if I was the only one who could see it I've always hated the Ron is supposed to be a Hufflepuff take, although I can find a few why it might apply to specifically the first book where Ron is a very good best friend and sacrifices himself in the test match and whatnot. But as the books progressed Ron is just not Hufflepuff material. He is only semi loyal, he certainly not hard-working, and yes he has a bunch of pure blood biases baked into him that everybody kind of ignores because he doesn't mind muggle-borns, but like am I the only one who remembers how he reacted upon discovering lupin and hagrid? I'm not a Hufflepuff but if I was and people were saying Ron was a perfect fit for my house I'd honestly be insulted. Ron kind of goes against everything Hufflepuff stand for and people are only saying that he's the Hufflepuff one because they're desperately trying to get the the trio or the other three houses take to fit and they're using the hat wanted to put Harry and Slytherin to me and Harry was meant for Slytherin and Ron gets stuck in Hufflepuff by default despite it not fitting him in the slightest. No I wouldn't say that Harry doesn't fit Slytherin because he does, there is more to Slytherin than cunning an ambition there's also resourcefulness and determination which Harry has. But I do agree that Harry would also be a good fit for Hufflepuff as you said he's far more loyal inclusive open-minded and willing to put in the effort when he really has to. Honestly I think Harry could fit all of the houses except ravenclaw, while Ron and Hermione each fit both Gryffindor and one other house ravenclaw and Slytherin. Honestly it's a little ridiculous because you can still have your everybody supposed to fit another house with Neville just put Neville in as a stand and Hufflepuff, maybe Harry is a true Gryffindor and his three best friends in Gryffindor represent the other houses with Hermione being ravenclaw Ron being Slytherin and never being Hufflepuff. That's probably the original intention because Neville was originally supposed to be part of the friend group and then kind of just didn't until he did.
@@lahlybird895 While I agree on the premise of Ron's characteristics fitting better for Slytherin I don't think it's fair to call Ron "semi loyal" or any less loyal than Harry. I don't think it's fair to hold Ron under the influence of the locket horcrux and the stress of worrying for his family (especially Ginny inside a Death Eater ran Hogwarts) for essentially breaking down and leaving in a fit of anger. He even states that he pretty much regretted leaving the next day but obviously Harry and Hermione had moved and Ron had no way of getting back until they spoke his name and he discovered the ulterior use for the deluminator. And don't even get me started on Goblet where if you don't have the information that Harry absolutely did not put his own name in the GoF Ron's feeling of betrayal from his best friend are 100% valid and even then he was standing up for Harry by the end when he'd realized his folly but was still too proud to admit it or to try and make amends with Harry.
Brilliant. I still think you got it a bit wrong with Harry going to live with SIrius. I see Sirius living very near to the Weasleys. Sirius just becomes a honorary Weasleys. With Lupin visiting too.
17:35 - The Flare and the Spare >> woth the famous command in the Graveyard, I wonder if this is a forshadowing that SCB had the courage to kill-off Ron in the Graveyard. Well, since it seems they are doing book four by tasks, we will see in two videos.
Could you eventually do "What If Ginny was sorted into Slytherin?" I think I've come up with a way she can get sorted into Slytherin: Charlie catches her sneaking into the quidditch supply which makes him train her and it fuels her ambition to be a professional quidditch player, so she's even more determined and ambitious so she gets sorted into Slytherin.
I'd personally like to see how they could build a world where Snape was sorted into Gryffindor instead of Slytherin, a world where, through Lupin, he, and possibly Lily by proxy, ended up becoming a Marauder. What his Animagus would be? All the things that could change if he had been sorted into Gryffindor like Dumbledore had suggested he might have been if they sorted later than the first year.
@Nathan-yd7xd I think petunia would try to live vicariously through dudley to get the experience she never could since she scorned lily for so long. And I could definitely see them treating dudley like he's going to be the next Dumbledore just to rub it in Harry's face
@@FlareFritzMemphis RU-vid channel called Harry Potter lore or something like that that basically did that exact storyline. It's not anywhere else in depth of FCB usually goes but it's there
I’m scared that if Ron replaces Cedric in this depiction of the story, y’all might kill him off and end the series at part 6 😭 maybe something like Voldemort never gets reborn thanks to Ron’s sacrifice: THE END (we want more parts please 🙏)
In the books, Krum was the one who used the Conjunctivitis Curse on the dragon he faced. In this video, Harry is the one who uses the Conjunctivitis Curse on the dragon he faced. The Conjuncvitus Curse would cause the dragon to ruin the real eggs. They took marks off that, he wasn't supposed to do any damage to them - Ron's quote after the First Task. Ron would beat Harry in points in this case for the First Task, then.
I mean it doesn't mean that Victor didn't do it it just means that Harry also did it so yeah it's not like they can see what the others did so then using the same strategy would make sense Kind of like how to tributes ended up using the bubble head charm in the second task
WAIT A MINUTE! WAIT A MINUTE! If Ron is taking Cedric's place as the "True" Hogwarts Champion, does that mean he's going to die in the graveyard?! But wait. He's the "Main" of this What If. "The Flare and The Spare". If Ron is Flare and Harry the Spare, Wait. If The Killing Curse is shot at Ron and Harry on instinct tries to block it somehow and gets hit, then the Horcrux in Harry is gone. Then what does that mean for the Deathly Hallows Part? Does that mean there's only Nagini left then that's all? ..... .....Also yes Please do a Series of "What if Regulus Black Survived" I can see it where as he is about to get pulled under by the Inferi but Kretcher grabs his hand and gets them out of there and back to the house. The two sharing a moment and then Regulus going to Dumbledore about the Horcrux. Then even reconciling with Sirius and being a double agent for Order of the Phoenix. Maybe even to play it him being dead, using Deffindo to cut his arm off with the mark and Madame Pomfry using magic and potions to regrow his arm.
Can't wait for Order of the pheonix to find out gets the prefect badge this time. Cuz in the main story, Harry and Ron individually are quite accomplished for their age, but Harry is more accomplished. He doesn't get the badge however cuz he just had way too much going on that year and Dumbldore didn't want to add to that pressure, so the badge went to Ron. But without Ron there, does Dumbldore just give it to Harry anyway, or does he try his hand with Neville or Dean??...
What if Voldemort realised Harry was a Horcrux in Philosophers Stone. I’ve asked before but Voldemort was the closest thing we see to an expert on horcrux’s and as there is a sensory feedback how is it that Voldemort never realised what Harry was. In this What If Voldemort has Quirrell check on Ravenclaws Diadem and later feels the same sensation he feels from Harry Potter bringing him to suspect and later prove to himself that Harry is a Horcrux.
NICE recovery on Trelayney's Prophecy given to Harry. 👍 EDIT: SPECTACULAR drama increase on the Champions chosen by the Goblet Of Fire. WOW! I genuinely did NOT see that coming, but want to see more! You guys are GREAT with these alternate timelines!
This just has me wondering what if fred and george got someone to put their names in, would they and harry all help eachother would it start a rivalry? Would one of them die instead of cedirc?
Interesting. Did you guys come up with Sirius accusing Lucius naturally, or did you borrow it from your video about Sirius getting exonerated? Very interesting if you landed on the same thing twice, and separately.
Whenever SCB posts a video, my day gets a whole lot better. I love their what if scenarios. To all Warner Brothers executives, HIRE THEM! That way people can tune in weekly to see the what if episodes.
I've really been enjoying the tier list/ranking videos, but I was itching for the next in this installment. I'm crammed full of anxiety and anticipation for what's coming next.
omg I've ben waiting for this next part to come out since I talked to yal in LA! Been loving this series so much and the hype I've ben feling was so worth it! Can't wait for the rest of the story it's geting so good!!! Might just be my fav What If series so far
I have a what if idea. What if the ministry expelled Harry at his trial? They would have siezed and snapped his wand in half. How different does Voldemort and his plans play out? Does Dumbledore try to get the wand back? How does that effect hallows coming into the story potentially earlier? Or does Dumbledore simply not get the wand back. We know they say its vital Harry doesnt surrender his wand. But if they expel Harry how does his life change? Does he stay at Grimmuald Place? How different is the remainder of the series?
Thanks for all the awesome work you guys do, it is honestly one of the highlights of my week watching your videos. I have a question that I was hoping you guys would have an opinion on, "Who do you think would have been on the Avengers team if the Chitauri hadn't invaded New York?" Sorry for not waiting for a marvel related video, the thought came to me this morning and if I didn't ask it here I worried I might forget it.
I'm kind of surprised by the fact that Harry went with black when he has a really good life with the Weasleys I honestly would have expected him to turn Sirius down.
Finally the next chapter! One thing ive always wondered though, even in the original. What was the fourth school Harry was submited under? On a separate but related note...what if Snape had been sorted into Gryffindor? What if he had become, a Marauder?
I am kinda sad it seems like it is just tearing Ron and Harry apart. As well Cedrick died. And that will just ruin the families relationship with harry even more. I don't see harry making the choice to stay with serious mostly because of the love he grow up with was greater from the Weasleys
At first this series was pretty alright, and by that i mean only the first part, but the longer it goes on the more it's falling into bad fanfic territory, tropes and all.
Well as they said it's not really for him it's mostly for Sirius But now I kind of want to feel like an epic custody battle between him and the weasleys
I'm enjoying this series a lot. Like many readers, I have often thought about things I might change from the books, and putting Ron in Hufflepuff and Hermione in Ravenclaw are the first two items. It runs the risk of creating three competing lead characters, but still. We'd obviously meet Cedric, and Cho and Luna earlier, and we would feel more connected to the suffering of Cho, and to Cedric's death than we already are. And there would also need to be a reluctant Slytherin ally. A Sly with a strong code of ethics. Ancillary character at first, but playing an increasing role toward the culmination of the story.
And Why Sirius don`t go to live with the Weasley? I think Molly would no acept a no for a answer about give home to a man that love his son and needs stability to heal right now.
I have a VERY hard time believing that Harry would have chosen to live with Sirius right away after he was found innocent. I could believe it if he was living with the Dursley's, but when he grew up with a very caring and loving adopted family, it's hard to believe that he would just leave them for someone who is basically a stranger. After a year or two of regular interactions, I might see it happening. If Sirius went to the courts to try to force the question of custody, it's possible that he could win, but it's unlikely due to all of the time he already spent with the Weasleys. Babies have been adopted out by their mothers without their father's knowledge before, and when the biological father, who was fit and prepared to be a single parent, sued for paternity, they lost because it had already been a couple years by the point of the verdict, and the adoptive parents were all the kid knew. So I doubt that Harry would have accepted Sirrius's offer that quickly.
Well like I said it's kind of for less selfish reasons and more selfless one for trying to make things better for Sirius, but I could also maybe seeing it if like a trial basis like spend a summer with me and see what happens and whatever and see how it goes and he knows he's probably going to see most of them at school anyway and we don't even know what the plans for Holiday breaks are who he's going to spend time with then
Oooo Call concept but also Ron's kind of lazy and kind of not good at magic or school work so I don't think you could pull it off The process does happen to be ridiculously complicated
