All's well until we get to a desert fight

Alpha skull crawler/the big one:(as he/she goes to a nearby rock/building half the solder skull crawlers flank out to Ruby's side the other half burst out of the trees,ocean and the ground,(understandably) outnumbered and confused as what they are and slightly ruby swims away towards her house,but one solder skull crawler catches up and bites her deep on her shoulder as it raps it's tail around her trying to keep her from getting away...but ruby just barely catching the crawler's tail she throws it onto some of the others swimming towards her,as she gets up onto land and runs she paused and realized that if the creatures find her home all of her family would be in danger even though there krakens as well...so she runs to the woods and after some of the skull crawlers come on land,track her scent for a few hours she runs as one of the skull crawler solder's see her,gives Chase for a good 10 minutes and finally catch up with her....but what ruby doesn't realize that they want her to go on a nearby hill witch is were she's going the skull crawler solder's are miraly that distraction that allows the big one(after catching up from underground) jumps onto and climbs a nearby hill and goes ambush position....and just as soon as ruby gets close enough the big one gives a growl low enough for only his solder's can hear.the solder's stop to let the big one finish the hunt knowing they'll get a share....ruby stops and turns to see the creatures not chasing her,but arn't going away either...understandably thinking they changed there minds she leans over to catch her breath on the same hill the alpha crawler is on....after a good minute ruby feels something slimy on her hand,as she wipes it off she hears a faint growl and looks up to see the same creature but almost as big as her.tge creature pounces on her and this time successfully manages to wrap its tail around her ribs as the big one bites Ruby's throat and as it claws her unprotected/unarmored skin ruby struggles to breath let alone escape the creature, and though she cant get air in her lungs she manages to successfully gets it's jaws off her throat but the skull crawler alpha bites on her already wounded shoulder.... thinking on her tentacles she struggles because of her ribs almost being crushed but does manage to lift the creature up and tossed it on a nearby wall and a few of tge solders as well,wounded but still kicking the big one gets up and roars angrily and with some of his most deadly soldiers he lunges at ruby who punches the others away and berley catches the big one witch causes them to fall down...as ruby gets up she grabs the alpha skull crawler's head in a choke holder witch eventually but not emidiantly causes the big one to go unconscious but before he does manages to get out long enough to bite down very hard on ruby's hurt shoulder for a good few minutes while ruby dispite being battered,dizzy,scratched and bruised she puts the creature in the hold again and after thr the big one goes unconscious ruby gently puts the creatures head down and then heads to her house. Ruby:(opens the door)h...hi mom.(says weakly) Mrs.ruby:oh hi ru-(sees the blood and her torn clothes covered in blood)RUBY WHAT HAPPENED!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!? ruby:(passes out and after a good while she wakes up in her bed wrapped in bandages and tries to get up) Mrs.ruby:easy there ruby.... don't get up right away......(sits down on the end of the bed) what happened out there? Ruby:(tells her what happened) Mrs.ruby:oh my, he's really not dead after all. Ruby: what do you mean mom? Mrs.ruby:oh my sweet girl,that "big creature" you fight has been trying to kill our family line for years now....last time I saw him he was unconscious in a cavern. (As she explains we get to the skull crawler's sniffing and jump when the big one regains consciousness)
