What if SCP-035 Was Put Into SCP-914? 

I can't see any way 035 could become so powerful to be able to counter 682's adaptability, or delete 343 so easily, even guessing 914's function.

I really didn't think 035 could defeat 343 so easily. I thought there would be an epic battle at the very least.

I think this is what really happened: when the lights went out and 343 disappeared, in reality it was the mask that had been transported into another reality with no one there, not even 343. He thought he'd won, but as he strolled around he realized no one else was there. He realized that he had not defeated God at all- he'd lost.

The Mask ended up giving Jack the one thing he wanted most: an end.

I feel like whoever wrote this is downplaying 343 so hard. I feel like it could’ve been a stomp on 343’s part.

I'm not sure that grabbing Bright's amulet would go down like that. In any case, I'm sure Clef could do something Clef-ish about the whole affair. Kinda handy having a reality warper with thick plot armour and unknown powers of your own on the team.

Alternative Ending (In my opinion the most realistic ending): As 035 laugh at how he turned the great beast known as 682 into some small reptile he immediately turn his back on the SCP and walk away. But right after he took his eyes off of 682 without caring, he suddenly felt a huge amount pain coming from right leg. Without a moment to respond and see what could’ve done this he was immediately thrown against the wall with such force he didn’t realize he lose a limb. As 035 scream in pain from the lost of his right leg, he then realize who his attacker was none other than Indestructible Reptile. In rage that 682 would dare attack him, he then decided to turn 682 into the size of a molecule, but as 035 snaps his fingers, nothing happen, 035 both in shock and rage that nothing happen attempts to continue believing that he could still win this fight, but in the end it was pointless, 682 roar and charge right at 035 tearing the mask’s new body limb from limb leaving 035 as nothing but as it started out as, nothing but a mask. As 682 approach the mask, 035 beg and attempt to persuade 682 into not destroying it. “Wait don’t, we could work together and build a new world, a world where only you shall reign!” And in response to the begging for life, 682 laugh. 682 was laughing due to the fact that 035 was so cocky when he believes he was on the upper hand, but now with nothing to help him he is begging like the disgusting creature he is. 682 then immediately slams his hand on the mask crushing it. 5 hours of 682 breach and his re-containment , MTF units scout the foundation for any left over SCPs and then they have found 035, or what was left of the few broken pieces of the possessive mask. 035 was classified as terminated.

And that is why the Special Containment Procedures for SCP-035 state very clearly: No fewer than two (2) armed guards are to be posted at any time. Guards must remain outside at all times and are not allowed within the containment room under any circumstances.

Highly doubt an upgrade to 035 through 914 would make it powerful enough to delete 343 from existence or even do half the things it does in this video.

If there is one single good thing about this is that at least Bright's wish was fulfilled He finally got to rest

The story in itself is good as a stand-alone. And it's clearly intending to be this. However, the Mask turning powerful enough to erase 343 from existence, permanently incapacitate 682, and destroying Bright's amulet is just absurd. But in itself, not a bad story. Just a little odd inside the SCP universe, even if it's non-canonical

ok, 3 things 1. Isn't this story basically the same as "What if SCP 343 wore SCP 035?" story? Both stories are just 035 becoming a powerful reality bender, causes an XK-class end of the world scenario and there's no good ending 2. To fix the crisis in both of those stories, just pull a SCP 5000 and reset the world. Also, if you need the Exclusion Harness, just use 914 to fix it. This could fix pretty much any XK-class scenario if SCP 2000 won't work. There are other failsafes I can think of that could resolve any XK-class scenario where a reality bender goes rogue, but the 5000 method is usually the go to 3. There's no way 914 would make 035 so powerful it could overpower 343. Its never made anything THAT powerful. Even if it could, 343 isn't the only SCP that could stand in the way of 035. There's the Sisters, 999, The Deer, a lot of the 001 proposals, and even 1915. If 035 tries to bypass the reality bending powers of 1915, he'll end up triggering another Stars Do Not Wait scenario

If the mask wanted to make 682 feel terrible, all it had to do was transform it into a regular human. Disgusting

I love the videos but I think they make the mask more powerful than it’d actually be. I really don’t see how it’d affect 343 by wearing it or how it’d be able to kill him or how it’d be able to affect 682’s ability when he’s come back from literally being erased. I get it was upgraded by clockworks but still.

682 can adapt to anything and can do it fast:Will probably self evolve himself to original state. 173 was shown to be able to put himself back together when not watched:Will prob do what I just said. 096 bones couldn't be broken by gods and can regenerate even his brain:Will prob just regent again and enraged because 035 saw his face. 049 was shown to survive a 106 attack(which is usually impossible unless u have a regenerating ability):Being turned into a crow prob won't do much.

Plot Twist: 343 just transported 035 into an alternate universe where he could do what he wanted without being a threat to this universe... thus neutralising the mask without fighting it or taking away its happiness.

914 would never create anything for 035, Also 914 cannot change the mass of the materials put in it. The most likely scenario is that 035 would end up looking nicer with a more complex design. Also even when set to "Very Fine" it could end up reducing the thing to pebbles as a way of making it "Better".

The clock works are way too powerful if they could just turn a mask that could semi-control someone's mind to a being strong enough to counter 682's adaptability and defeat 343 power

I don't know how this would even happen the only theory i have that makes even a little sense is that 914 upgraded the mask based on his thoughts and ego since there isn't much else to upgrade in a sentient mask, the dark jester-esk body could be a contrast of his twisted humor while his immense power is likely a contrast of his ungodly ego and desire, Other than that theory which has very little to back it up this makes no sense at all and thats not even considering how weird very fine can be. I do agree though that 343 was very downplayed.

The only I don't understand is why SCP-343 is always near powerless in these videos. I mean, I get that a literally boundless entity of infinite power and reality rending ability who could simply stop any bad anomaly with a mere thought is kind of boring, but still. He seems a little easy to stop considering he is literally god, or at least allegedly. Not a criticism, though. These videos are absolutely amazing and always super entertaining, just my opinion.

For my ideas of containing 035, I recommend using Scranton Reality Anchors to prevent any reality warping, the wearing of helmets made of the telekill alloy to prevent it from getting in peoples' heads, and perhaps even making blades from telekill for combating 035. Not to mention the most powerful guns you can possibly get your hands on. Then stick it (the mask itself, once separated from the body) in a box like usual, except the box is not just glass framed with any ordinary metal, but framed with telekill to keep it from manipulating anyone ever again.

So what I'm getting here is.. 914 can evolve anything into an XK scenario

Giving 035 an indestructible body is already a gigantic upgrade that would counter its main weaknesses. Giving it reality bending powers that surpass even 343 is completely unnecessary overkill that takes all tension away from the story.

I highly doubt the clockworks could make a being who's power trumped God. And the problem with Bright's amulet was that it wasn't able to be destroyed. They've tried. What I find more likely is that SCP-035 simply became a prisoner of it's own imagination. And one is always OP in their own mind. Imagine that it was put into the Clockworks, and then the machine transformed a being that could do almost nothing but speak and think without a body, into a being that could live entirely in it's own little world. IT had no body when put into the machine. That was it's mistake. So why would the machine bother to make a body without reference to one? Not even a photo. Instead I theorize the mask only thinks it was given everything it wanted. But instead it's been placed in it's own little world where it can do whatever it wants. And it'd be a sad day indeed when it realizes that truth.

But how was it possible for SCP 035 to "kill" lietral God?

Whatever writer let 343 go down so easily is a genuine embarrassment to the SCP Fandom. It's literally GOD, his powers should be far beyond 035, and erasing him from existence is nothing short of plot armor when not only was this an ACCIDENT as 035 didn't initially realize what he'd even done, but 343 stupidly just decides to stop teleporting 035's body because the lights go out. 682 and Dr. Bright I can accept, it takes 682 a long time to detransmutate himself and 035's original powers were to break down materials so melting Dr. Bright's amulet makes sense, but 343's death was lazy writing. Especially when 035 could have just psychically controlled him and forced him to commit suicide or as an evolution of his goo breaking down materials 035's body being damaged could have caused 343's powers to break down to the point 035 could actually take him down. Ya know, USING THE POWERS 035 HAS INSTEAD OF PULLING SOMETHING COMPLETELY OUT OF YOUR ASS! Also, with how torn up he was about it defeating his mind control 035 should have destroyed the tinfoil hat.
