What If Spear Combat Was A PUZZLE GAME? - Cramped Room of Death 

Not being able to spend a move to 'wait' makes this game concept a lot harder.

Interesting how the character just completely swapped mid-cut

just the section of showing how the spikes work shows just how great the editors are, its such a small thing but is so appreciated.

One of the few RU-vidrs that I can always have an enjoyable watch of, love your content and of course the scarce but detailed edits perfectly complement this style of interesting puzzle games

Reminds me of the Deadly Rooms of Death series, and given the name probably a bit intentional on this game's part. More a possible 'inspired by', since there's some clear differences in mechanics. Namely different way of attacking, and the monsters stay on the same tile in this one. There's... a lot of that series, so if you enjoyed this, it's at least worth a look.

It's good to see the game dev world has not forgotten about Deadly Rooms Of Death. It's one of the oldschool puzzle game staples that I keep hoping gets a remake

Interesting mechanic. Really spearheading new puzzle dungeons.

Beat this one a couple of weeks back and while it's not the biggest or most difficult puzzle game, it does do some interesting things. Like the opt in easy mode or the way levels evolve with some traps. Also enjoy that the story sort of explains the weird situation. Solid game and hope the dev keeps it up.

I know you can't ACTUALLY post Parfe Down The Rabbit Hole every day, but GOD DAMM I wish you did because I LOVE the game!

12:27 I'm assuming there was some confusing that was cut out. I do want to add that one way is clearly vibrant yellow, instead of a dull white.

11:11 Tyler says these guys don't add much to the puzzle but they really do, if you get to them and kill the unarmed skeleton without thinking then the bow skeletons become impossible to kill because they're guarding each other. They're a trap!

I like this theme for a game of this subgenre. The dog with a stick was good too.

A bit tougher to follow than some others but might just be getting used to it I like the puzzles, looks like they did a good job of keeping them varied and difficult so far!

So many incredible puzzle games getting posted recently, that combined with the top quality editors and Tyler's skills/charisma means that we're freaking feasting

If you like this game, you absolutely *have* to check out arrowmancer. You're lining your characters (who are witches) up on a 3x3 to deal damage, themed as casting spells by dancing with eachother. But how you line them up to get damage changes with every match, and your team will have preset patterns for each charcter, making some characters flow really nicely, while others feel just so bad. All in all arrowmancer feels very much like this game, surprisingly! And another surprising thing about this game is hiw well (at least the early levels) simulate combat fundamentals (keep away, strafe, nearest first, keep all enemies in sight).

this game is super reminiscent of stephens sausage roll! has very well thought out room designs to force you into a certain pattern of moves, very clever indeed!!! please keep this one going!

Reminds me of an old 1996 game called DROD, bit more adventurey than this but definitely still puzzly with a one tile big greatsword.

I noticed a lot of "stutter stepping" to off-set the timer of traps. But couldn't you just simply switch directions back and forth as well (as long the spear has room, of course)? It felt like at a lot of points you needlessly ran back to stutter step, instead of just turning right and then left again.
