Nautilus with that kit would be completely broken. If it kept 32 damage you'd only need 2 subs of damage up to hit 33.3 and could easily commit to 2 pures of QR + stealth jump + disruptor kraken is even stronger than disruptor bubbler so I think zimi would get outclassed on almost all maps. It would also shred wall very easily and win against range, luna and slosher a lot of the time

Honestly 1 less shot to kill on naut is much less impactful with its fire rate. Additionally I dont think CRB would struggle vs it, since in s2 it already does fine and gaining a jump is far more valuable. its still very good of course but it has harder matchups then in S2 which is important to keep in mind. Naut is great vs short range weapons not mid range and AOE hurts its mobility via charge hold.

I think the 99.9 dmg on explosher could put it into the highest tier, being able to ignore splash wall, outrange the nozzlenose (I think) and make indirect shots with its special would make it extremely powerful

Well flingza and goo tuber were mainly weapons built entirely in the new weapon gimmicks in 2, so are we just gonna assume they’re the only ones to have the new weapon features or do they not have them or are we assuming every roller in 1 has a vertical and every charger + nautilus has a charge hold Also ballpoint on hammerhead is gonna be more broken than eliter on moray.

If the Kensa .52 Gal (and its kit) were available in the original Splatoon, it would take a good look at the weapons that were part of the meta of the original game (particularly the Custom Range Blaster, the Gold Dynamo Roller, and the E-liter 3K) and simply boast (in the Team Fortress 2 Engineer's voice), "Nope."

I think he underestimates explo. If damage up increased both the direct and the indirect damage, like it probably would, it wouldn't require much damage up, and would be able to get a one shot.

I mean technically it could be a thing because Glooga, but considering every single s1 weapon capped at 99.9 It would be unfair to make an exception for Explo imo.

Dapples have everything going for them in Splatoon 1. It's gear independent, allowing for QR it wants anyway, Kraken is a thing, insanely fast ttk, and even some mobility with its dodge rolls. Except Luna and Carbon exist, especially the former since it completely counters them 💀 Talk about unfortunate

Run Speed Up was nerfed in Splatoon 2. If we stuck the Ballpoint in the prequel, it would not need to run as much RSU as is needed in 2. Even if it did, its run speed would probably make it faster than when it first debuted in 2. Even that was too fast!

I think explosher would get a one shot combo because with the rules of damage up, you can’t have less shots to kill but this doesn’t consider combos, which is what explosher is built around

Bubbles blower( and blob maybe) may be stronger on the S1 maps with worse layouts than S2 version like moray with its absolutely garbage mid area

Meh, I believe that Undercover would be way better with Kraken and Burst Bomb in the grand scheme of things, a lot of weapons here would be way better. I just disagree with you on a lot of things, and that's probably just fine since we have different approaches to the Splatoon metas.

As a Tetra main id much rather have autobomb and an actual special then burst bomb and a special. I dont see much reason to run a bomb id use in the middle of combat when my ink is drained by 4 rolls and midroll shooting... in the middle of all of that 40% might be alot for me and id much rather have autos which I can still use to poke. Also if somebody runs away from me thats a Tetra win condition due to midroll shooting in case you didnt know... so burst bomb seems worthless and id rather have Splat Bomb or Autos since those are Lethal and I can poke with them. My dream Kit is Autobombs with 190-200p Splat Bomb Rush for that reason!

The rolls are 3% each so it wouldn't be much of a problem, and it lets you burst bomb mid rolls like how dualie does. And Burst also has less downtime when poking, auto for it can be nice for scouting but I just went for strong kits here.

@@ProChara those are fair points but if Tetras find themselves in extended fights or multiple fights they wont do nearly as well as other weapons and burst bomb wouldnt help too much with that so id rather have a bomb that I can better poke and scout with... and I personally dont like burst bomb on Tetras and I am in no way saying that I think its a TERRIBLE idea so much as I think autos are better.
