I must say I if this story interesting, having Ashoka and Starkiller meet and have their relationship with Vader come forth really sounds cool. But this interpretation of Vader is what really gets me, instead of writing Vader to hate his past and want to destroy it you've written it as he refuses it and tries to ignore it. this is probably the most interesting view on Vader I've seen. Good story man.
This definitely makes Vadar a more complex character. He isn't the same killing machine the way he's often portrayed as in other Star Wars stories. This was great.
Just do what all the sensible Star Wars Fans do: Blame Kathleen Kennedy, declare the all of the _Disney Star Wars_ stuff (outside of _Rogue One_ and _Jedi: Fallen Order_ ) as being Non-Canon, and demand both the reinstatementof LucasArts and to have Dave Filoni take charge of LucasFilm after Kathleen Kennedys' cadre of Yes-Men and Ex-McDonalds Employees that she calls her "Story Group" are thrown out with Fridays' Garbage Pick-Up like they should be. It's the sensible thing to do...
Blade Writer The danger of an angry mother is in many species. The question of what an angry Jedi mama would do with the strength of Mara Jade is frighting!
We actually did once. She tried to kill Jacen Solo when she realized he was turning to the Dark Side and planned to take her son as his apprentice. She almost won, but her overkill tactics backfired as he killed her with one of her own toxic darts by taking it off her belt and stabbing her with it.
I'm starting to wonder if this version of Bariss saw the future of her Legends counterpart, now ruined by a man named Dave Filoni. Since she could not get at this man, she took out her anger on his creation: her one time friend, Ahsoka Tano... even if it was rather undeserved.
@@BOOFIRE191 Oh I don't mind, she makes for a terrifying villain and that in turn makes Anakin an even stronger character. Truly worthy of the name. Speaking of him, I have an odd question to ask. As a human-Togrutan hybrid... what does he look like exactly? Is he like half-half (say Togrutan in appearance, but has his father's pale skin?), or does he purely take from his mothers traits?
@@BOOFIRE191 I actually ran into a similar problem when developing Deba Jarrus, Hera and Kanan's daughter and an eventual major character in my Rewrite Verse (basically, what if TFA was good?) I attempted to mix traits, but nothing seemed to work well enough. So, I ultimately came to a pretty simple compromise. Deba is a Twi'lek with similar decal features to her mum, but she bears her fathers pale skin. Haven't drawn her yet, but I'll get around to it eventually.
@@BOOFIRE191 I have an additional question after rewatching this. What changed in Vader that he'd turn on the Inquisition to protect Anakin, Ahsoka and Galen, and even let them go? Would he have done the same if Galen had died like he had in OTL?
@@BOOFIRE191 It does actually. I came to a similar conclusion months ago with a video I made titled "Why Twilight of the Apprentice does not work." To put it very simply, Anakin and Ahsoka's relationship did not end in tragedy or betrayal, but relatively still good terms (I'm of course referring to them meeting again prior to Mandalore). So like Luke, she's the one other person who has the chance then to bring him back, like you show here. Can't wait to see what's next in this series.
@@BOOFIRE191 i dont anticipate or speculate on plot , i just enjoy it ( or not , depends on how good it is ). I preffer that author tells his story with out input of my anticipations. About what i like : First - i love that your story is what SW was originally about - redemption ( or atemption of it ) second - it feels realistic , bit dark , but not too much ( SW should not remind me of 40k , since then is lose to it ) third - you have nack on diging up some second and third line characters and flushing them out as interesting , real humans . forth - i love how you made Galen ( and young Anakin ) masters of their emotions , acknowledging them , harnessing them and be mindfull of them , not shying away from them or become slave to them. And fifth, and the most important one ( but this not relevant about this story , goes to your older story ) : You are the only one who made Cmd Shepard pilot Zaku II under comand of Trawn against Empire , while dissing rebelion and making fun of pacifists - THAT require TALANT !
@@murderouskitten2577 Unless Boo states otherwise my head cannon is that this story takes place alongside Earth in Star Wars(Either version). I do miss Galactic Century though.
I have binged this series after finding it and would like to say this. It is absolutely incredible! You sir have made a Star Wars Story that is more interesting than the actual Canon.
Seriously amazing story!!! You're truly talented at story telling... if this series of vids were a book I'd buy it.... Thank you for sharing this story with all of us !!!
BOOFIRE191 21-38 the music for this story felt right, to showcase the only (at the time) bright spot that Darth Vader has left. Can’t wait to for the next episode! I thoroughly enjoy hearing these stories (especially the Earth in Star Wars series)
there might have been a few queues to showcase this such as the fighting style, overwhelming power, and that hearing how Vader had ordered for Starkiller to not engage Ahsoka no matter what. She might have also seen Vader visibly tense up when she screamed out the name of her son; the very same name that Vader once was known by. And after seeing how Starkillers' fighting style was a close match for her very own did it finally truly click for her that Anakin Skywalker became Darth Vader.
The combat in the voiceover is intense and dark in my opinion. Truly impactful to the audience. And make feel like their actually in the battle field of lightsaber slicing and slashing foe's without mercy.
@BOOFIRE191 I just discovered this series, and I couldn't be happier with it. Your story telling really made me feel like I was there, and that reunion... it really got to me. Keep doing what your doing cause I can't wait to see what other stories you have to tell.
Yesssss. Thank you for bringing out this episode and episode 5 of what if starkiller. I loved this serious more than earth in star wars hope you can release episodes of this more regular but even if you don't still happy to see you continuing this episode
@BOOFIRE191 can I use your story as inspiration for my "What if Galen Marek Survived" Fanfiction. But my story would a little different and kinda similar to from yours. In my Fanfiction story it would also add in Galen Marek helping and finding the few surviving Jedi and having them join the rebellion and his squadron.
Hey Boofire quick question could i use this series's plot for my Star Wars x Gundam stop motion series? Just thinking about Anakin Bonteri, Ziel and Norris Amada (Shiro and Aina's son) tearing through yuuzhan vong in mobile suits makes me scream lika 12 year old Justin Bieber fangirl!

Damnit BOOFIRE191, was it really necessary for Anakin Tano to lose his eye too. That is messed up man, the boy is probably around the same age as Ziyal and doesn't deserve to get tortured like that, just so he can resemble the main character from the Berserker anime. I would've been okay with him just losing a limb for example an arm or hand. But an eye too. That is just how I feel, plus I hate to see Ahsoka own son end up like that when we were first introduced to him😔. (so heartbreaking know and feel)
Im not a huge fan of these What if RU-vid videos you see all the time more often then not their just someone rationalizing what they think should happen, but this series here id say is more like an honest to god fanfiction which i love, your characterization of Galen and Vader and your shipping of Lux and Ahsoka is simply amazing, cannot waot to watch more Boo goddamn.
I think it might be because of it being a split second decision preventing him from using the Force to cushion his landing due to not having any time to prepare himself.
Awesome video, when you finish this series could you make a theory about luke and lord starkiller going against sidious. I would be a continuation of the darkside dlc of the first game.
@@BOOFIRE191 I wouldn't mind a little romance between the two after Galen saves Ahsoka and Anakin and then escape the inquisitor citadel, along with Ashoka family and the small resistance.
@@caleboch8181 No joke I wish BOOFIRE191 replied back to the fans comments once and while. But I understand that he is busy. I'll just have to wait until the next episode I guess.
