So just wondering what would everyone’s reaction be to learning Subaru’s adoptive father being a dragon? I imagine Rem wouldn’t be too surprised after likely seeing Dragonforce. Ram probably wouldn’t believe it and Emilia would be freaking out at the revelation while Roswaal would just snicker and Puck would admit he knew from the beginning.

So something that absolutely did perplex me was why Skiadrum was the only dragon who revived in the original world as far as we know and I personally think it would be really cool if it turned out that the other dragons revived in the Re: Zero world and sensing the darkness of the witches of sin began training a new generation of dragon slayers such as Garfiel if you go with the idea of him being adopted by Elexion after his mother and Frederica left sanctuary.

If you can think of how it could be done he could acquire fire dragonslayer magic which could mix to create shadow fire dragonslayer magic (theoretically shadow fire/shadow flame dragonslayer magic would be able to quickly burn souls and because of being part of his dragonslayer magic it would have the benefits of dragonslayer magic) how the fire from this would look like would be dark fire with shadowy effects that would replace how smoke looks (this is because a fire of that nature would be closer to being an apocalyptic force than a normal fire while having some of the properties of fire from hell/the underworld/the abyss)

It is from a dragon after all , and no other dragon had touched it before so , if Subaru can make it shine then it will be pretty dramatic , especially when it shines at the grand hall for everyone to see.

I got an Interesting idea What if Subaru had the potential of the wizard king & as well as a 4 leaf clover grim but without the actual time magic.. I’ll leave that to your own imagination tho if u consider the idea

Overall I like this, just a few criticisms Elsa wouldn't immediately attack, she'd finish the deal first and then attack if Subaru and Emilia weren't their, and if they where then it would probably be a sneak attack anyways. Subaru's dragon slaying magic also grants enhanced senses, so he could sniff out Felt from her footprints, or have smelled the blood that would probably be smelled off of Elsa after her many missions. And Emilia called herself satella in order to shake Subaru off in the original, here I don't see any reason since she accepted his company pretty fast. In the end though, don't care too much, only thing that's worth remembering is the second point anyways, and the story is just fun in the first place which is enough to make it good

an interesting suggestion would be what if Subaru was guts it would be an interesting story I love stories of giant sword wielding bad asses that kill monsters with just there blade the arm canon thing just is a cherry on top ultimately. Although I wonder if that would break the story because it would make the return by death ability useless because some 1 as powerful as guts is literally never dying the guy took a stinger to the face got shocked by lightning and fought with zodd on an equal level who alone can destroy armies. An better match up would be chain saw man that would make ultimately because both are bad asses in there own right and every action they preform is justified based on there back story. I mean if guts hadn't gone through the golden age arc and the eclipse him calling demon babies in lost children would make no sense but because he has faced more trauma than most if not all anime protagonists alive it is more than justified why he does what he does. protagonists ancestry or special abilities at heart don't make him special it's the struggles he goes through to gain those powers
