Things Ali will buy: dome, banjo, talkbox, marching snare Things Ali will not buy: a real tape measure, new socks Thank you for inviting us into your chaotic life 😂❤
@@ireallyreallyhategoogle Though if we’re getting technical here, the mere opening of a door of a dwelling is considered “breaking” under California law.
@@kate1830 Really? In Canada, if you don't break anything, aka if you have the key or the door is unlocked, it is not considered breaking. Lock picking is breaking, even if it is just tiny scratches. She had the code, so no breaking involved.
'Oh Snap'. 'Aiight', 'Raise the Roof' 'Home skillet'. 'Whatever', 'Talk to the hand' or 'Eat my shorts'. 'Bounce', 'Not' 'Fly' 'All That' 'Bout It' 'No Duh', 'Booyah'. 'Alrighty then'. You did a phenomenal job. I hope the two of you end up having a drink together. Peace/JT
I can't express how much I love you recognizing the "pants palis" seeing you won't ever give up on the long form content makes me so happy. shorts are my least favorite thing ever haha
You REALLY need a studio room with some sound proofing in it. It doesn't have to be big. At one point (probably in the 90's), my church was using a 4x4' section of a robe closet for a sound proof area. :-)
Ali, your insane creativity and intense determination make my cheeks hurt as my grin turns into a cramped rictus throughout your unbounded (and perhaps unhinged) videos. My own creativity (and general mental health) took a huge hit during and since COVID, and videos like this go a long way toward rekindling my own enthusiasm and inspiration. Thanks SO MUCH!
Now that you have a snare drum you need to turn some song into a marching band. Get Chris to help you. Question is what song should be an amazing marching band song.
Shorts Pallies are missing out. I love watching the BTS. Seeing the creative process unfold is a journey. Glad to be on the journey as a Pant with you.
Can you please do a version of Kermit’s The Rainbow Connection - I just want to hear your banjo on the behind the scenes bit of making it not folksy! Like a techno or Drum and Bass version?
Heya Ali! So I have decided I am definitely a Pants Paly and I love the new video! The 'sneak look' had me laughing out loud once Christine found you with the snare! I am looking forward to seeing the new house evolve so keep up the great work! Oh and by the way, your shoulders are looking noticeably ripped lately. The dead lifts are quickly paying off. See you in the next one :)
So glad you found your way back to my recommended page! I do have to say the carefulness around Christine and her reactions made me feel a bit sad... You enjoy creating things and making music and it feels like she's just always annoyed at everything. But i'm sure we just see small snippets of your day and i hope it comes across worse than it is!❤
I’ve followed her for a long time and I am inclined to agree 😥 I really hope Christine is more supportive irl than she is in these videos, because if she is like that all of the time, that doesn’t sound like a very healthy or happy relationship. I desperately hope I’m wrong, because every so often we get glimpses of them being really happy. I just hope that happiness is the norm.
I have been lurking around her videos for a while now and I have come to the conclusion that this lady is most likely a genius! The way her mind works.....I have no words as to how impressed I am. Her talents seem never ending and the way she figures out work-arounds is more than creative.
An alternative to the dome could have been sticking a little camera inside of a box cheese-grater and then performing in front of a green-screen. So many late 1990s/early 2000's R&B music videos look like wannabe sci-fi.
Nice! Need more snare drum videos! This was awesome and I can't wait for all of the projects at the new place 😊 One thought on the snare tuning, did you tune the bottom head, too? You can get a snappier sound tuning to a closer interval.
Now I really want a marching snare… or maybe a drum kit… unfortunately I am a broke college student so I’ll just live vicariously through Ali’s videos 😂😂
Did you even end up using the whoop sound you broke into your old place for xDD? I listened to the song twice and I can't hear it anywhere but I'm not sure that that's not just me being unobservant, haha.
somebody just aint fun -___- .. Ali per usual, youve done AMAZING. I like the chopped up down down down but I think it would of hit even harder if you let the "lowww" ride out.
Hearing about all of the extra percussion being a feature of the '90s makes me wonder if that was a function of the evolving music technology at the time e.g personal computers becoming a thing. I'd love it if you could do a little bit of dive into that history from your perspective.
