His only redeeming quality is liking wookies and spoiler alert, everyone loves wookies. Other than that, he's an old man with stagnat thinking, while being a hypocrite by having MULTIPLE WIVES.
If anything, the Jango Fett Clone Army are the true heroes of the Star Wars Universe. Maybe not every single one, like Faie or Bacara, but the majority are. Thank you for being heroes, one and all, you brave troopers. ❤
“Now that I think about it why did I just use dooku as a puppet for the CIS. Why did I think that this massive plan that could fail by one unaccountable individual was a good idea” - palp “ I don’t know but you are under arrest” - random clone
Yea if palpatine wanted to he could have just taken over the republic as the CIS in like two seconds. But I guess at the time he wanted to convince the galaxy he was the good guy. It's not until he's been emperor for quite a while that he goes full rule by fear.
Palpatine: "Commander Bacara... The time has come... Execute Order 66..." Bacara, starting down at Ki Adi Mundi's Dead body having been shot 1348 times: "Uhm, yeah about that..."
@@thestarwarsgalaxyI agree. Relying simply on conditioning and sleeper agent style programming couldn’t possibly succeed. I think the defections and refusals that was see from The Commandoes would be seen in mass amounts.
@@redbow0564 I can see Bly contemplating but after I read a comic about him letting a youngling go I can see him letting Ayla live. But those other two, it's gonna happen.
Then you remember that papa palps in EAW did basicaly END an entire city of bothan's HIMSELF without help. Yea no, them what? 300 troopers of the 501st? Are nowhere near the 100's of thousands he killed that moment.
You should read the Republic Commando series. No inhibitor chips. Just soldiers trained by different Mandolorians and following their moral codes instilled by those trainers. When order 66 started, they all had to make a choice of what to do on the spot.
@@nursestoylandyeah but rex specifically palpatine wanted anakin the have the most elite legion, so why not give him one with a force sensitive captain
Palpatine: So you made sure to put the inhibitor chips in all of the clones right? Kimonians: what inhibitor chips? Palpatine: … so you’re telling me, THAT YOU FORGOT THE INHIBITOR CHIPS AND I FOUND THAT OUT WHEN I TRIED TO EXECUTE THE ORDER?!?
The part that’s least believable about this is that shadow collective would be used to take on the republic navy. Palpatine would have just used them to slink back into the shadows so the sith could try again at a future date. Then he’d find a new apprentice to carry on the sith rule of two
I have an idea for you. What if the Jedi refused to be generals in the clone wars and didn't head the clone army, instead deciding to stay peace keepers.
That was a fresh approach to go so far back to the chip's development and have it decay "naturally" in the body. Well done. The results, Yay, the twins survived! I always loved their design , and sadly was sad due to the loss of their design for future episodes than the characters (bad me). Now, boo, Allie died ... again, she always dies, sort of like Mundi. Ahsoka's death was inevitable given story placement, only plot armor could have saved her. Yet it was a death that served the story to give Anakin a price he didn't expect to pay. It was overall a fine look down this path of what if. Thank you for sharing it with us.
You did really well at showcasing the connection and relationships many of the clones had with their Jedi commanders. It was really nice to show that man. Keep up the good work. We’ll get you to 100k soon
Day 10: What if Jaesa Willsaam (light side) was in the Clone Wars? The idea is that shortly after Jaesa is recruited by the Sith Warrior, Darth Baras realizes the potential threat. He manages to capture her and freeze her in carbonite. After Darth Baras dies, Jaesa is never found and is eventually forgotten for the next 3000 years. Then, during the Battle of Christophsis, a tunnel to an ancient under city is discovered. Obi-Wan leads a squad of clones into the under city in order to gain a tactical advantage over the separatists. While here, the force leads him to a long forgotten prison. He finds Jaesa here and frees her. Shortly thereafter Jaesa rejoins the Jedi and becomes Obi-Wan's apprentice.
@@NeiasaurusCreations Well, not instantly unless she had a reason to suspect Palpatine and the Jedi Council asked her to use her power. Though I can see Ahsoka not being banished by the Jedi Order as Jaesa would be able to figure out that Ahsoka was not responsible. The Republic might not take that as evidence, but I'm pretty sure that most of the Jedi will.
@alduintheanti-dragonborn Nah she'd have good reason to suspect palpy really quickly. Since she'd have experienced how far the republic has fallen and how corrupt it became. Gotta remember old republic Era republic was a far cry from the period where sith had intentionally weakened and corrupted it for ages. So jaesa would have very good reason to be suspicious of the republic chanclor and even the jedi since she wouldn't be fully up to date. The republic and jedi by this point are pale imitations of what she once knew.
@@NeiasaurusCreations Maybe so, though I do also remember her saying that she was taught not to use her powers as a crutch. Then again, if this is light side Jaesa, then she'd probably be logged as someone who deserted the Jedi and joined the Sith when her former Jedi master was sent back to the Jedi Order, assuming he was sent back. That's gonna be an interesting conversation.
See that’s why I like the inhibitor chip idea being put in place. Most Jedi formed a bond with the Clones so some were definitely going to disobey this order without the chip. It makes sense why Palpatine would take no chances by having it implanted.
What if the Clones broke out of their Order 66 brainwashing AFTER just gunning down their generals? Like as if afterwards the chips suddenly malfunctioned or their free will finally broke through or something but it was too late?
I loved how this one was completely different where some clones did or didn't follow Order 66. Sidious always had a backup plan. Anakin saw the truth and helped defeat Sidious.
What if darth vader went to darthomir to learn. New suit or perhaps more unique powers. Resurrect talzin maybe. what if Vokara Che became a mentor to anakin as anakin was being treated for bullying and trauma from being a slave. What if anakin fell in love with luminara unduli, serra keto or bultar swan. What if anakin was taught by agen kolar or sasee tin or adi gallia.
I always wondered this Question. Thank you for your version. Day 90 of my list. What if; Anakin never gave into his feelings for Padme (Pentre Patrol did his version), Aayla Secura was the chosen one and became Darth Talon, Shme Skywalker was adopted by the Tusken Raiders, Boba Fett saved his Tusken family, Count Dooku was a regular count for the CIS, Jabba the Hutt supported the Jedi at the Start of the Clone Wars, and finally, what if Sabine and Ezra fell in love?
I would like to mention that the Clones not having inhibitor chips was the original idea George Lucas had and was the canon for a short while until Dave Filoni came in and added it to the story. Truthfully, I feel that the inhibitor chips were a cop-out by Filoni in the narrative story Lucas made. In the original narrative, the Clones would've struggled internally to actually follow through with the order, and while a small handful would reject the order, as a certain Clone would say, "Good soldiers follow orders." Unfortunately, Filoni copped-out and made the inhibitor chips, pretty much replacing the deep narrative that the Clone had no choice but to kill their Jedi commanders, whom they've served for years, for a story that they had chips in their brains that took over once a phrase was said by the Chancellor.
Literally nothing changes in that case. If anything, it only makes Ordee 66 that much more tragic as the Clones took the order and carried it out without question, as was intended
I think you should do a story where Obi-Wan Kenobi at different times teach Luke and Leia the beginnings of the force and when they got older Leia go's to Yoda who teaches her more of the force and go's to Plo-Koon (who survived being shot down) and is taught the force, and the rest you all can go from there.
What if anakin was piloting before attack of the clones and sensed ventress fall to the darkside as her master died and took his ship to the planet to investigate. Perhaps starting a romance as they are very similar in their stories. Also what if ahsoka taught ben skywalker as she saw him as history repeating itself. What if anakin was a jedi watchmen or wayfinder. What if anakin went with kenobi to face maul and savage instead of adi gallia. What if anakin fell in love with luminara or your own version of aayla secura romance. What if oppo rancis trained anakin. What if anakin met and fell in love with ventress just before the clone wars just after her masters death. What if anakin became a jedi sentinel like a watchmen or one of those who find younglings. What if evan piel became a mentor or second master to anakin. Or anakin became a healer either before or after his mother death could be related to his friendship with offee or alternatively what if he was trained by tra sa who taught windu and actually did not forbid attachment as shown by her relationship with tholme , they could become like a pseudo parents to anakin and train him away from the temple in azati martial arts and from trasa the living force as she is a plant lady so imagine anakin controlling plant life.
Prior to the Clone Wars TV series that introed the chips, it was already established it was mental conditioning. With this, only a few of the clones were able to refuse the conditioning due to their own will and self identity. ARCs and Commando’s were the norm of this “Disregard[ing] the Order 66) concept depending on story and how the plot could take it.
We never needed the stupid chips. Order 66 was a contingency in case a Jedi went rogue and became a traitor. Order 67 was a contingency to capture and, if need be, execute the Chancellor. The clones will "follow any Order without question." The chips was because Filoni overhumanized the clones abs didn't like the idea of them murdering the Jedi, so now it's that they had no choice.
What if Satele returned during the Phantom Menace and trained Anakin? What if Plo was sent to fight Grievous? What if Plo and Shaak raised Luke and Leia?
What if the Clone army did not have the inhibitor chips for order 66? They still would have killed most of the Jedi as they did in RotS when chips weren't a thing. The End.
They weren't a thing cause of plot smh use your brain the guy explained it at the start that the clone wars explains why they did it in the movies when the movies was made it was not introduced but when u add something in it it don't matter if it was past or not it still means it's there so when the inhabitants chips wasn't a thing they still would cause of the story but the makers decided that we should explain why they did it without questioning it which is why they introduced it an even shown some of them have problems with doing it because of willpower not cause they simple don't want to but cause they had more control over themselves or was fighting for it think about it the clones was made by the jedi for the republic which is what they was fighting for why would they betray the very thing they fighted for when they didn't have chips it makes no sense so most clones would wouldn't belive they betrayed them an would want proof of it before following the order unless they was scared which they shouldn't be cause they was the army
I think that some clones, like Rex or Cody would not do it but that it will be the exception. Most clones would not hesitate, like Neyo or Bacara : even if they respected their jedis generals, most clones were not close to them like Cody with Obi Wan or Ashoka with Rex. They might hesitate a few second that might be enough to save some jedis, but they will take the shot like Od Ball did 90% of the time... For Coruscant, Apo is not the type of guy to question order... But I think he will disagree with his men to kill the younglings... The 65th will stay on the side of the chancellor no matter what : they didn't had any bond with jedis, except maybe for Thire (he might have a big role to play in this scenario). Also, the 65th had probably a stronger presence than the 501st on Coruscant at that time... The 501st will not stand a chance at storming in.
This is basically oritinal legenfs. The clones would follow order 66 due to their loyalty to the republic, then yoh have minor outliers like the ion commandos
This question was answered by almost every piece of star wars material produced pre-2008; they followed orders without question, with only some coming to regret it in the aftermath. They were basically like the Spartan 3's of Halo mixed a bit with the Grineer of Warframe. The inhibitor chips only really exist because filloni wanted to humanize them and make their relationship to the jedi overall positive. Things that made it impossible to commit order 66 without some forced justification.
They mean within the current context of clones being human beings with complex feelings and emotions lmao. This comment is entirely unneeded because this is an entirely different context.
It wouldn't have been impossible or even unlikely. Clones spent far more time being taught to be loyal and follow orders than they did fighting alongside jedi (not to mention they had there genes altered to be follow orders without question or hesitation). Filoni just didn't want the clones to be bad guys.
Fun fact: In Star Wars legends, the clones there did not have inhibitor chips. They just followed protocol. Order 66 was, however, very well known and understood in Legends, so it’s not really a hidden order tucked away, making it less suspicious, alongside the existing order 65. (This might not be a fact and I may be having a schizophrenic episode)
I love these, but a few suggestions is to try not to repeat nouns in a paragraph. Also to try not to start a paragraph with the same word with in three paragraphs. It will flow better using synonyms.
I wonder what happened to the other clones that actually DID in-act on the order in this what-if story, did many of ‘em got arrested or something else differently!?!
The irony is the Jedi who ordered the army is actually the one who created the order list and insisted on the inhibitor chips. He was being manipulated by sidious and his then dark master but still.
I ignore the stupid chip thing, they were programmed from the start to follow any order without question, they knew full well that eventually they would kill the Jedi, their loyalty wasn’t to them.
@@caselleknoxiv589 Legends clones are some of the most disappointing things about Legends. TCW2008 was fantastic and it introduced us to some of the best characters of the franchise, all of them were clones.
I don't see any major difference if the clones didn't have inhibitor chips. As the contingency orders make a lot of sense. At the end of the day, most of order 66 is lawful, as it doesn't call for complete extermination of all Jedi. Instead it says eliminate high command and try to arrest the lower members
I think you just did the Maul rejoining Sidious, because otherwise Sidious would not have a chance to strike back. But to be honest I think Maul would rather die trying to kill Sidious then work with him or be locked up, he even told Ahsoka to kill him on Mandalore.
What if Anakin joined Dooku on Geonosis? What if Anakin became Vader in AOTC?(Palpatine plays his hand early by making Anakin believe that the Jedi would turn against him when they find out about the tusken slaughter. You can have it so a bounty hunter tracked Anakin and had a recording as leverage.)
What if anakin was found by jedi belonging to another sect like corelia or those nomadic jedi who allow attachment. What if anakin went to dathomir in revenge of the sith to search for ways to save padme. What if yoda decided to swap the masters of ferus olin and anakin. So anakin with siri. Obi with ferus What if ahsoka and anakin crash landed on bendu's planet. Also what if darth vader joined thrawn in meeting the bendu and went on a spiritual journey back to the dust ball tatiotene.
