Here's the full video! Rhythm guitars were recorded by a good buddy of mine and massive props for him for his help! Excuse some weirdness during the vocals - there are no stems available for this song and I had to isolate the vocals.
Song belongs to Blackened Recordings/Metallica, obviously.

This has lead to me a realization about Metallica tones. Chords sound best on RTL tone, downpicking sound best on MOP tone, and fast alt-picking sounds best on Justice tone. So since this main riff is so focused on that A# chord, it sounds awesome on RTL tone.

The "wah" effect at the beginning is done in perhaps the janky-est manner you can imagine. Record a guitar, transpose it by -12 semitones, apply tube screamer and amp. And before the tube screamer/amp, apply an EQ filter, and move one of the points rhythmically to produce the wah effect! Record the result by recording the system audio while moving the EQ live, sync it, and there you have it!

This is amazing the bass and guitar tones are exactly the same as on the album. Only problems are there’s WAY too much reverb on the vocals, not enough reverb on the instruments apart from the drums and it sounds like you’re using a bass wah and not a guitar wah on the intro bass
