One thing I liked about Attack of the Clones, Dooku called the Jedi his old friends, and showed genuine regret at having to fight his fellow Jedi. That showed there was still some good left in him.
Yeah if you watch the clone wars TV show you can see how dooku slowly is corrupted by the dark side more and more geonosis was probably the last point at which dooku could be turned back to the light
I’d say he still had good in him right up until his last breath, while he did want to destroy the republic it wasn’t so he could have a galaxy of lesser slaves it was so he could build a better system, of course his way of doing this was terrible and he was most certainly corrupted but intentions were always there.
I actually LOVE this one. How many leader's 'perfect war plans' have been destroyed because one uppity general thought he knew better? It makes so much sense. Grevious had NO IDEA what the end game was, he was working off of information that he had to follow his orders. When his leader seemed to be betraying those orders and the cause to which both were sworn, he took charge. In this one, Palpatine was really hoisted aloft by his own petard.
Then order 66 wouldn’t have worked, and palps plan would’ve failed in spectacular fashion. It was the trust built fighting alongside the clones that caught the Jedi by surprise. If they had been attacking them from the start, they would’ve been decimated even more in numbers. The droids would’ve been destroyed if they turned, that bond and trust wouldn’t have been there, and I’m pretty sure a Jedi could short out those droid circuits en masse if they tried, but that would’ve been a much shorter story
Why? It gave him a scapegoat to operate in the shadows. The more imposing/badass/jedi killer he had, the more the Jedi would be focusing on other external factors
I love how much my face lights up when I see another dooku story line being uploaded, really wish we got more of him in the prequels or even a movie layout his jedi days.
How great was casting Christopher Lee in the role? It's as perfect as Patrick Stewart being Charles Xavier and Ian McKellen being Magneto, in the X-Men movies.
@SensiofRabbitude in the words of Meatloaf, "You took the words right out of my mouth." It really was perfect casting for all 3 of the characters and actors. I'm also going to throw in Wesley Snipes as Blade, Hugh Jackman as Wolverine and Robert Downy Jr as Iron Man.
This was amazing. I’ve been a fan of your videos for a while and it’s always fun to see your interesting SW what if’s. It was also fun to see Dooku dying on Geonosis at the start of the war getting shown some love. This is definitely an interesting scenario and it should definitely get shown some more love. It was also fun to see Greivous show more of his tactical skills since aside from being a great warrior he’s also a pretty good strategist. Great job as always and I can’t wait to see what you do next. I do have a few ideas for some possible what if’s: 1) What if Rey was a Mandalorian…essentially what if Din Djarin found Rey and took her in as a Foundling. 2) What if Ezra was a Mandalorian…something like how both his parents were Mandalorians who left Mandalore and went to start their own lives (you could still keep most of Ezra’s backstory) and potentially make Ezra and Sabine a couple (since Disney won’t, we have too…#ezrabine4ever. 3) What if Jango Fett and/or Boba Fett Joined the Republic…I think something interesting could happen with this. 4) What if Rey, Finn and Poe went back in time to the Clone Wars…this would make the World Between Worlds even more of an important focal point and I could also see them get along well with Anakin, Ashoka, Rex and the rest of the 501st (it would be fun to see Rey, Finn and Poe join the 501st) I hope these are some amazing ideas for some potential What if’s
What if Revan wasn't found in stasis until the first year of the clone wars? That would mean that Revan in his prime would be alive and well, and Darth Vitiate's spirit would still be dormant since Revan didn't awake his spirit at Yavin.
OMG I LEARNED WHAT GUERELLA TACTICS WAS IN HISTORY DURING 1916 RISING AND WAR OF INDEPENDENCE (They split up into small fire teams and basically doing hit and runs on tons of the enemy forces)
Imagine if the Star wars films released in episode order and suddenly Coleman Trebor comes out of nowhere and solves the Separatist Crisis Now that's brilliant writing
So in other words, Anakin was not the chosen one but was instead Coleman. Or perhaps Grevious? Day 118 of my list. What if; Anakin never gave into his feelings for Padme (Pentre Patrol did his version), Aayla Secura was the chosen one and became Darth Talon, Shme Skywalker was adopted by the Tusken Raiders, Boba Fett saved his Tusken family, Count Dooku was a regular count for the CIS, Jabba the Hutt supported the Jedi at the Start of the Clone Wars, and finally, what if Sabine and Ezra fell in love?
With how the current state of the Star wars franchise is, I wouldn't mind some small AUs being done with star wars. The very idea of Grevious being unleashed and the seperatists just bodying the republic and jedi has very interesting potential to have so much more happen then just what happened here. The empire never happens because Dooku and Sidious are gone, but instead Grevious makes his own alliance that just becomes hyper war focused. Grievous is a warrior. He LOVES fighting. I could see him culling the jedi just enough to where they'd need to grow their numbers back, and then just letting them loose on the galaxy so he can eventually fight them again when they inevitably come back. Plus, he hates droids, so he WOULD be trying to organize genuine organic armies he could have instead while he has the droids do the worst stuff. Meaning getting actual PEOPLE on his side, which makes the conflict far more interesting than an army that can theoretically be turned off entirely. Grievous has terrifying potential when nobody is holding him back. He'd actually have the potential to be a very solid prime antagonist with far more depth than he has now. He would be hands down the only non force user that could ever potentially wipe out the jedi entirely. I don't think he ever would, he likes killing them too much to eradicate them, which would eventually backfire for him. But he theoretically COULD, and that's awesome. Plus it could be an AU where the Mandalorians aren't pacifists. Grievous, vs Jedi, vs Mandalore. Wouldn't that be a war for the ages?
Day 12 What if Jyn Erso survived and went on to meet and fall in love with Luke Skywalker. Or What if Cal and Merrin had a daughter. Or What if Padme was arranged to marry for the Republic during the clone wars
Honestly I do get the whole good guys win thing but realistically Grevious wouldn't tolerate a rebellion, after the prison break he would delightfully go to his fleet and bomb coruscant back to the stone age like Malak did to Taris
What if Valkorion returned during the Clone Wars ? What if Obi-Wan was Dooku's Padawan ? What if Leia was trained by both Obi-Wan and Yoda instead of Luke ? What if Plagueis survived his fight against Sidious ? What if Anakin and Padme never fell in love ?
What if Anakin was never found on Tattooine and eventually led the most powerful criminal organization in the galaxy, at even playing fields with the separatists and republic?
What if the Jensaarai joined the Rebellion. Palpy doesn't really like any other dark side users that's not under his control. The Jensaarai has a dark side version of the Jedi Code. It's not a Sith code but something more for the gray Jedi accepting the dark side. Also they were former Jedi that left the Jedi Order before the rise of the Empire.
What if Anakin was injured early in the war and lost his memory and was found by count dooku/separatists and was retrained as a dark acolyte He would be trained in all lightsaber forms including form 7 juyo and vapaad by sora bulq, several acolytes were former Jedi masters that could teach Anakin Jedi powers only available to Jedi masters and Saato could teach him dathomiri magic. He would be more powerful as a dark acolyte than as a Jedi. He could either stay as an acolyte or somehow get his memory back and rejoin the Jedi but he would still have full memory of everything he learned or maybe after getting his memory back he would decide to leave the acolytes and the order not wanting to pick sides against Jedi or the dookus dark acolytes.
This makes no sense. Grievous joined the Separatists during the clone wars when the Jedi invaded his home world ( Kalle) and he fought back by replacing his limbs with machinery and changed his name to Greivous to greive the death of his friends and family. He then got recruited to the separatists and quickly rose to General.
@@JamesScoop-si2mw Especially if the upfront payment was upgrades and Anakin tasked HK-47 with hunting down Sidious. That droid could eliminate Sidious with ease given he was made by Revan.
In the comics Mace new he would die if he killed dooku. He forsaw his demise using shadow point. He also saw the end of the war with this action. Thats why Mace is a coward.
Hmm... okay, so... what about the Planetary Shield Generator? Coruscant's supposed to have a hugely powerful one? It would take hours of continuous pummeling to bring it down even in a single sector. Did I miss that?
What if Anakin got turned into an Adeptus Astartes Librarian on Mortis? What if the Yuuzhan Vong invaded during the clone wars? What if Obi-Wan was the Sith Lord?
They can’t because greavous was too fast for most Jedi to focus on. Mace Windu was one of the few Jedi who could keep themselves calm and collected in front of General Greavous enough and actually was the one who damaged his organs in the first place.
Flawed the droid shut down command wouldn’t be on a flag ship . There is also like billons of other droid reserves with Assaj ventress that could easily overwhelm the clones . Sidious is not stupid enough to die like this .
Grievious isn't immune from the Force. I don't understand why none of the Jedi used Telekinesis to just crush his limbs, organs or even the power cells of the lightsabers. A force user like the Sith can counter the attack on the lightsaber crystals&power cells but Grievious doesn't use the Force. The same with both light&dark side Force lightning attacks.
