the verse of 'the adults are talking' in the end of the cover was WONDERFUL.

I'm really laughin' out loud at how ridiculously accurate this is. It's like the sum of "Reptilia", "The Adults Are Talking" and A-Ha's "Take on Me".

Thank you, this strengthens my theory that The Strokes and JC's partnership with DaftPunk reshaped pop music in the last 5 years thanks to their massive impact since their debut. The Weeknd, Harry Styles, Tame Impala, Sam Fender, Clairo's Sophia, Ed Sheeran, etc. have all sounded like them in some of their songs. Also, they saved rock with "Is This It". Good work.
