Thrawn is a mastermind in the art of war, with his strategy and tactics...he could win any battles and possibly a war. He also deduced chancellor palpatine is the sith lord. What a cunning and wise chiss.

Someone make Disney give this man his own what if series for Star Wars

The Rebellion actually would have suited him because of the hit and run tactics. The Empire would have been in serious trouble with Thrawn on the side of the Rebellion.

I was definitely not expecting this to be as super good as it was. The storytelling and writing for it was phenomenal as well as the voice acting. It's making me really want to see how part 2 will be play out.

The wholesome thing about the last 10 minutes of this video is how Palpatine is chill about him being revealed LOL!

I want to see if there is a completely original story you can come up with, regarding a potential story involving Thrawn, The Republic and the Criss (I know this isn't correct). I also want to see if this is possible, What If Abeloth reawakened during the Clone Wars.

Thanks for adding this. The thrawn books both legends and cannon are some of my favorites. He is a truly well made character. I hope you make more centered around him. Like your part 2 or if he joined the rebellion. Or if we are being crazy if thrawn was a jedi. Within the context of the first 5 " thrawn" books in legends him being able to put his mind into a force sensitive body could be possible

That Lars Mickelsson impersonation is REALLY good. He sounds heavier and gruffer than Lars though, but still.

I really liked this video with thrawn outwitting palpatine so completely then saving anakin's jedi career and keeping anakin in the light side of the force with logic and deductive reasoning of the highest caliber. This was a fantastic what if, wish you would have released part 2 but that’s ok. Thrawn is such an amazing character and I love how Anakin and him became close friends.

That was amazing seeing the real Thrawn, not the nerfed Rebels Thrawn (although it's a show aimed for a younger audience, so I get why he was nerfed.). He didn't need to be nerfed for the TV-14 Ahsoka show, there's no excuse why Thrawn would be not as smart as he should. Or at least showing how smart he should be. It's really frustrating. Also, you show that Thrawn is not an evil being. He just wants to find the best way to protect his kind, not galactic domination. If he can achieve his goal with the Republic, he'll do it. If he needs the Empire as a necessary evil to protect his kind, that's the road he'll take. That's what makes his character interesting. Thank you for this video, I'm gonna immediately watch Part 2. RU-vid is suggesting me the combined Part 1/2 version of the video. I'm not sure which I should seek, but I'll still end up watching the sequel whichever way it is. Cheers from France! 🍻

This is genuinely incredible, Mr. Fantasy Folkore. I love the voice acting in this what-if video where you made Thrawn an actual hero, for I suspect he might choose to side with Palpatine, but what plot twist turns out to be positive, and my man, you just made Tharwn a fantastic detective and the Sherlock Holmes of Star Wars. Of course, I would love to see a part two, for I want to see what happens next with the Republic helping the Chiss Ascenday. Outstanding work, my friend, a masterpiece of the finest arts of storytelling, and we need people like you to create awsome stories of star wars fanfiction who care about this franchise. Also, people people what if Anakin reached his full potential make sure that what if gets more likes and views surpassing what if Aniken was trained since birth because, if I’m being honest, Aniken reaching is for potential with no separate limbs, he becomes the most powerful Jedi ever all time in history, surpassing version of what if Aniken was trained since birth, or stayed on mortise

My favorite what if ever. Thrawn pulling that Sherlock Holmes deduction at third act was chef's kiss especially with the voice acting.

It's a fascinating alternative angle, though any survival of the Republic obviously leaves the question, how they would've fared against the coming Yuuzhan Vong invasion.

You do what most what if channels don't actually have a good voice actors for the characters there was a single second in there that Thrawn was talking that I didn't think it was Thrawn. That just goes to show how well the writing and the voice worked together. (please make a part two)
