I can't explain it but this feels like if breaking bad was condensed into a season of better call saul. Obviously the ending of BCS would have to be heavily rewritten but its a cool concept to heavily cut down breaking bad but still have it feel complete. Possibly my favorite video you've made yet.

I think this story could use a follow-up, the tragedy of the White Family has to be the setup for Gus' Downfall.

What if Mike hired Saul to launder his money in season 5 instead of the other lawyer?

If Mike was cut up about his experience with Werner, he sure as shit wouldn't be cool with this. Even at the laundry when he was about to kill Walt he seemed pretty upset. I don't think Gus would even want to approach it that way, as a cartel level murder of a family like that brings too much attention and too many questions. And alongside that, it'd look like Eladio's cartel killed a DEA agent and their whole family, and the DEA would completely dismantle and destroy the cartel which would disrupt the whole sales side to Gus's current operation.

Similarly to this video, what if Walt hadn't had the Lily of the Valley plan, and had simply accepted his death at the hands of Gus's men?

Don't quite understand why Gus's plan of offering Hank in place of walter would change, instead of walt's entire family for a less reliable plan

So I don’t know how exactly you could do it, but maybe a What IF about if Jessie’s little brother was more involved in the story. Like after he was caught with the joint by Jessie, maybe his parents find out later and force him out of the house with the rehab and everything else they’d put him through? Like he runs away to stay with Jessie…? Maybe around the time he’s sobered up would be a good time to start it…?

What if Jesse stopped working with Walter after he got beat up by hank

Although I totally agree that Walter whites perceived happy ending would’ve been better for Jesse in the short-term, it was Combos death that led Jesse on that dark downward spiral that eventually led to him choosing to leave everything behind. Permanently. Both the meth business and his decision to stop doing all drugs. Without that, I believe Jesses self destructive behavior would have only been postponed. With $400+k in his pocket, his journey around the world would have been short lived and he undoubtedly would have found his way back into his addiction and when that money ran out he would had eventually decided to come back home (with or without his gf) to hook back up with his old crew. Which is when he would learn of the fates of the Whites and Shradder Families. Poking around a little bit, Gale (assuredly not knowing anything about Heisenberg’s death) would still want to learn Heisenberg’s formula. Just like before, I believe Gus would have Jesse come on in an advisory capacity. Which would be funny in and of itself us knowing the alt timeline. Not only that Jesse is the one to kill Gale but that Gale clearly would be astonished that the great Heisenberg would had worked with anyone of Jesse’s caliber. They would most certainly not get a long at all. Jesse not being as smart as Walter, probably would not sense the mistake of teaching Gale everything he knows and that would make for an interesting situation when the Cartel comes calling for the formula. Would Gus make the same decision then and wipe them out? Or would he willingly give Jesse over to the Cartel choosing to wipe them out at a more convenient time? Even if everything goes well for Jesse, I still see him either dying in captivity or dying from an overdose.

So if the main character died early, all the other characters that aren’t related to him would’ve died too and the “bad guys” would all win but not the “bad” bad guys bc presumably gus takes care of them. I genuinely don’t know how to feel about that

I do feel Mike, as a grandfather, would have something to do about this

Him being around and his ego getting in the way mostly and although shit happened in the end people losing their lives Jesse losing Jane. The bloodshed that coulda happen the White family was stopped.

What if Gus chose Victor over Gale to work with Walt? What if the twins killed Hank? That's all i got for now.

What I wanna know is, what happened to Walt's share of the money? Did the DEA seize it, did Gus' men get it? Did Skylar find it moments before dying?

Wouldnt be better if Gus told the Salamanca family that Walter White is dead however it wasnt him that putted the bullet on Tuco, then tell them to hunt Hank in a simmilar way than it went down in the original show? Then the showdown in the parking lot would take place in a simmilar way except this time Hank would have his gun from the start.

Love your what ifs as always but my only problem with this one is holly dying to the twins, I understand blood for blood but I don't think they would cross that line and kill a 1 month old baby. Could be wrong but still love your vids. Edit:I'd love to hear your thoughts on this as well.

I don't think Mike would stand for an innocent baby getting killed, He might watch it unfold from his car, but after learning about it, he'd tell Gus, "We're done, an innocent baby?" And that's when the trouble starts for Gus

The only part of this I’m skeptical about is Mike letting the Salamancas kill all of Walt’s family. I feel like he would either try to step in some way, try to convince Gus to keep it from happening, or resent him so much that he decides to take action

What if the car accident with Marie was actually true. Before Walt calls Saul Hank gets a phone call telling him that Marie is dying at a hospital due to a car accident.

There's only one small hole in your plot. Mike would never allow a calculated murder of Walt's family. He refused to let Gus take out Nacho's dad, and even threatened retaliation if he tried. There's no way he'd let a woman and two kids die

Personally, I think Walter did have a perfect death. He killed everyone he searched to destroy, successfully managed to give the remaining 8 million dollars to Walt jr, and even though he did die in the end, I would say he accomplished everything he wanted because at the end, he died to his own hands before the police busted in.

Really loved this. I honestly think Gomez was the most loyal man in the story and I believe Hank and Gomez were the true heroes of the show. Gomez always stood by hank’s side and whenever he needed help, Gomez was always there. He’s a truly admirable character

This definitely needs a follow up, Mike wouldn’t just let gus off after he got a newborn baby and an innocent family killed, hell I doubt he’d even go through with it at all, it’d be cool to see some sort of lone wolf Mike breaking off his agreement with gus over this and instead of the Walter vs gus battle it’s Gus vs Mike

What would a best possible ending for Jesse and Walter where they don’t end up hating each other and keep the “father-son” type bond

Correction: the blowfish metaphor happened after the spooge arc. The whole point of jesse being a blowfish was that his reputation was a cold blooded killer who crushed a guys head with an ATM even though it was completely false.

I dont really find this as the perfect ending for Walt but it did intrigue me. Heres some suggestions: What if Hank never found out?, what if Jesse had never found out about the ricin, and what if Skyler supported walt?

You’ve probably gotten this before, but what if marie’s car accident was real? I mean what if walter HIMSELF forced saul to get one of the guys from his black book to set up a car accident. how would that affect hanks reaction to finding out the truth? how would that change what he does to jesse following that event?

What if Skyler saw the body Jessie was hiding?

What if during the knife fight, Holly White tackled Walt to the ground instead of Walter Jr, and he instead abducts Walt Jr by carrying him to his van while Skyler scream after him?

The only unbelievable part of this story is Mike willingly letting Gus plan to murder innocent people, including an infant. If he had issues about Gus threatening Nacho's dad, then theres no way he'd agree with Gus allowing a baby to die
