In today's Europa Universalis IV video we will be bringing an invasion of Synths to EU4, the Synthetic Dawn, which is actually included in vanilla EU4 and can be activated via console commands! This mod buffs them further and we want to see how the world reacts to this new threat

Has the Synthetics been nerfed? Im 100% sure that in the past they automatically annexed every province which they sieged down, and the province reduced to 1-1-1

Was going to say the same thing. Provinces weren't just annexed as soon you sieged them, they became your *cores.* It's actually kinda boring to play as them, especially if you know how to carpet siege.

What's fun is that this is just a stellaris reference, and the mod takes it further. The flag is from stellaris, the rules titles are from stellaris, and even the modifiers from the mod are machine traits that can be added in stellaris.

The mod made them stronger than normal? I've seen them do far better regularly, since provinces just flip to them and they can just keep going instead of using peacedeals? Here they just... basically conquered what whoever controls China usually does. When I messed with them in the past they were a scourge over whole continents eventually, only limited by lag

with regards to timmy not having the decision to form the mughals, now they have a mission to take a bunch of provinces in and around delhi, which gives them as a reward either 25pp with no limitations, or 25pp, +5 adm eff, -10 ccr until the end of the game, but cannot form mughals.

You're going to have to do this without the mod. The normal synthetics are so, so much stronger because of the instant annex of occupied provinces.

The synthetics are supposed to auto annex any province they occupy and raze its development to 3. Thats the main reason it was so powerful not national ideas or modifiers. This was lowkey a nerfed synthetics from the base game one without any mods.

Burgundy probably joined the empire when their capital got moved into an HRE Province after they lost Dijon. When your capital is an HRE Province, then you automatically join the Empire.
