Don’t forget Origin, the machine that literally combined the worlds of one and two to make three. It has another massive system failure, pulling the worlds back together again but now it starts pulling characters from the trilogy (both heroes and villains) and the conflict is Everyone is trying to get control of Origin to return the worlds back to normal, become god again, just kill everyone, or restart the whole endless now thing.
A Xenoblade Warriors game set in Aionios would make a lot of sense given its war-torn theme. Does it mean I want one like that? No not really, I personally wouldn't play it. I'm sure a lot of people would play it though.
Silly but maybe fun idea I had for a possible Xenoblade Warriors was to have mech fights similar to the Divine Beast sections in AoC but with maybe some more strategy lol. Like each game gets its own rep as a giant mech, like 7 in her Mechon, Elma in a Skell, Mythra in her Artifice, the Noah & Mio Ouroboros etc. It'd just be a cool way to incorporate how mecha is a big recurring thing in Xenoblade and could give it a bit of a unique identity from other Warriors games mechanically
I like the concept, but there is a few things I'd like to add: 1. Vandham has to be in this game considering he is in every Xenoblade. I would love to see a scene, where all three groups see Vandham, mistake him for their Vandham, and be surprised, that he is not. 2. Team fighters: The idea is, that some fighters are in duos. Mainly the drivers with their blades and the Ouroborus. Maybe the XC1 characters all fight alone, the XC2 characters all fight in a duo and the XC3 fighters can choose their playstyle. 3. Other characters could be: Ethel and Cammuravi, Gramps, Vangarre(Either as a Weapon or as an outfit for Vandham), the emperor, Mwamba. Especially they should not forget Zanza, Malos/Jin and Z as the evil Characters.
I would like to add that Xenoblade Chronicles 1 doesn’t have a Vandham. The first Vandham was from Xenoblade Chronicles X, and the first notable Vandham was from 2. Though I want Giga Rosa as a playable character.

I've been imagining a Xenoblade Warriors game being tied to Origin. The memories are there. So the idea is that the cast of characters are running through memories. Like how Future Redeemed had the players moving through the original Earth briefly. We could pick up on what Shulk, Rex, and A are doing. But I love your idea with the Nopon archsages! Either way, a warriors game in the Xenoblade lore would be incredible!
I've been thinking of this since the end of Future Redeemed. Now is basically the best possible time as they'd be best off having XC4 be a launch title for the Switch's successor. The multiverse setup already exists and that's not even the only way they could explain a crossover. I think the most interesting way they could go about it is having fighters act in pairs as a single character. 2 and 3 are already setup for pairs, so the question becomes of how to naturally pair up 1's cast. I think these pairs work: Shulk/Fiora Dunban/Melia Reyn/Sharla Riki/either his wife Oka or Chief Dunga Dickson/Mumkhar Alvis/Lorithea Egil/Vanea Kino/Nene Kalian/Emperor Sorean Zanza can use clones of himself, he isn't one to let anyone fight with him anyways. From 2: Rex/Pyra or Mythra (could be stance change type) Nia (Driver)/Dromarch Morag/Bridgid Tora/Poppi a (QT for special, QTpi for Awakening) Zeke von Genbu, also known as Zeke, also known as the Zekenator™/Pandoria Jin/Lora Ahkos/Patrohka Amalthus/Malos Mikhail/(Haze/Fan la Norne?) I love the idea of all the characters being in pairs. Though I have a few changes I'd make to the list you made from XC3, specifically the last 3 pairs that you mentioned because I don't see any real relations between these characters (please enlighten me if there is any deeper connection between these characters, I only recently finished XC3 and haven't played any of the DLC content yet). Instead I would change those to be any of the following Guernica Vandham/Grey - It was said that the two of them were close friends and fought together in the past Ashera/Teach - they both have a violent side to them, while Ashera is very prominent with her violent tendencies, Teach is trying to change his ways, and they have some kind of mysterious connection given Teach's past life Triton/Fiona - They become buddies after Colony Mu attacks Triton, they also have a close friendship with Irma/Consul I which counts for something I suppose Zeon/Juniper - Juniper became friends with Zeon after teaching Colony 9 how to grow their own crops Valdi/Alexandria - Alexandria and Valdi become friends with Alex wanting to learn how Valdi works especially since the "crushing" defeat of Colony Iota by Colony 30
@@ultraxana3106 I can get behind the rework pairs you mentioned, I just mostly picked to keep a cap of 10 per game, and somehow completely forgot Grey existed. I also just went with the first batch of characters I could think of, which happened to be those ones. If I had to pick 3 pairs from your list, I would probably go Vandham/Grey, Valdi/Alexandria, and Ashera/Teach. The other two pairs can be DLC. I kinda stretched for picks from 1, so DLC reps from that game is light. Maybe Othoron/Juju? God knows the huge list of Blades from 2, the remaining playable teammates from X, and the rest of the Heroes from 3 plus Torna, FR, and FC could make the cast list triple in size.

Mythra's child as the main protagonist would be perfect. New character, mystery solved, it would be the perfect introduction to help bring new fans into the story, and really please the long time fans.... At least it would be if Juju was there, but now it's literally unplayable.

If they do add Kos-Mos, they should add Shion too since she is the main protagonist of those games but despite that, whenever xenosaga gets rep in anything, it’s always just Kos-Mos.
I won't lie, I don't want any sort of canon story, I just want a pure fan service bash where all 3 worlds collide and it's like Hyrule warriors. Then again I don't really care what we get it'll be good regardless and the music will be AMAZING
I’ve been having “Xenoblade Warriors summoning circle” in my Twitter name since 3’s DLC came out and I think it’s just toooooo easy to do a warriors before 4. If they’re gonna drop basically everything previously for 4, then they can have Warriors take place right when the worlds converge and we can have ALL the characters together and it can still be canon
perhaps Pneuma could be a saber venus type character. Unlocked properly after finishing a special ending, so then you wont have to worry about fusing her.
Since Musou games always have a new original character, which usually is the Main Character of the game, my bet is Rex's child with Mythra, probably a son named Milton for the sake of... tears, ig. As for the story, either make it dumb non canon crossover, but that would be lame, or an actual story, in which case I have two paths in mind: - First, make small unrelated chapters taking places at different eras of all the worlds we've seen to detail the lore. We could have Monado Dunban, Dickson, Mumkhar, and even homs Xord in sword valley as a tutorial, then unlock other chapters taking place at Torna's Era, in Shulk's adventure, in Aionios, maybe even the Giant Era. You'd then unlock the chapter's characters, that you can use in free mode for completed chapters. - The other way it can go is not Making a Xenoblade Warriors game, but a Xenoblade 3 Warriors. The setting is perfect, we can even have two stories, one for Keves side and one for Agnus side. We can see a previous incarnation of the cast, before N and all that Xeno worldly Shenanigans in FR, no Moebius, No Ouroboros (maybe a consul or two though), just a story focusing on the horrors of war, where each mission you're gaining new heroes, but also losing some, as they die in battle and you lose your comrades in tragic emotional scenes. Now that's if we do have noah an mio playable in the main story, but I would even say for a better game make them non canon post game characters, and have the cast be all heroes (+ some more like Bolearis, Mwamba, Joran, Nimue, ...) and the story take place between FR and 3. This way we can have a canon story developing 3's characters a bit more, and we could see stuff like Nimue's colony being lost, Ashera's execution, non-Moebius Dirk as an antagonist, ... and Mythra's child being the new MC makes a lot more sense, too.
@@LilyMick another spinoff that would be good with this setting and two stories is a Fire Emblem-like, kinda like fates except no revelations route, you have to kill either half of the cast in each route.

If we go franchises route all the main playable will be starting of course DLC packs will be there and released in 3 waves - Lora+Jin, Addam+Minoth, Hugo+Aegaeon (came with Queen skins for Nia) - Kino, Nene, Alvis (came with Queen skins for Melia) - Matthew, Nikol, Glimmer (also unlocks Shulk, Rex Future redeemed skins, Alvis get A skins) Story could be Nopon Archsage overseer the full merging of Aionios but have to use his power as the New Villians try to intervene, by calling Heroes from the franchises to save the day
I think the most important part of XC Warriors would be that the story, while still quality, would need to NOT be canon (or at the very least be erasable). Series which reach this height run the risk of becoming “convoluted” not only in the sheer number and length of entries but also in what is considered to be part of the story…I love Kingdom Hearts, but that is the perfect example for what I mean. In short: Don’t ruin approachability based on one spin-off.
You would need to get Nintendo, Monolith Soft, and Koei Tecmo (Omega Force) on board for that to happen. Not impossible given that Sora got added to Smash. And that took Nintendo, Disney, and Square Enix to make it happen.
I think warriors game would be a waste of time since Takahashi himself said he wants to focus either on Exploration or Story. No offense but the only good thing that a Warriors game would do is probably divide the community into active/toxic people vs chill casual story gamers.
I think Torna's battle system would be really good for a warriors game, like if everyone had a switch art on top of their normal arts to keep up combos
I honestly really like the idea of the side story characters being the dlc. You could even give them a crossover side-story, separate from the game's main story, just like they have in the source games. One kind of joke character I would include for that is the Ponspectors from Future Connected. Just a goofy group of nopon running around, fighting using their surveying equipment and union strikes.
Regarding characters, I think it would be really cool if each 'character' was actually a duo. Each character would be unique and have their own movesets, but they'd also be able to swap to the other at a button push. At a gameplay level this could make the combo strings a bit more interesting, allowing you to on the fly cancel one character's attacks into the other's, or even allow strong attacls to use both characters to unlock more powerful and cinematic finishers. Naturally chosing pairs is easy for 2 (drivers and blades) and 3 (ouroborous pairs), though for 1's cast you'd have to sort them into pairs. A little tricky given there's only 7 playable characters (9 if you count Kino and Nene), but throwing in Tyrea as Melia's partner evens things out quite nicely. If you were to go this route, I think it would be reasonable to have about 20 character pairs total, 5 from each main game plus an extra 5 slots for DLC characters, fan favorites, crossovers, and memes. Now for the fun part, listing off everyone I deen important enough to make it onto the base roster. 1: Shulk and Fiora Ryen and Sharla Dunban and Riki Melia and Tyrea Kino and Nene 2: Rex and Pyra Nia and Dromarch Tora and Poppi Morag and Brigid Zeke and Pandoria 3: Noah and Mio Eunie and Taion Lanz and Sena Riku and Manana Ethel and Camuravi Bonus: Lora and Jin Addam and Mythra Hugo and Agaeon Nikkol and Glimmer Matthew and A Extra bonus (DLC): Shulk and Rex (FR) Melia and Nia (3) Mwamba and Hakt Vandham and Roc Alvis and Malos
I'd say to have 4 categories of characters. Solo. Drivers (who need to be paired up with a blade). Blades (who need to be paired up with a Driver, making the duo take 2 slots). Interlinkers (who get stronger when paired up with another interlinker but can split up including mid-battle). This would make the Torna members Interlinker or solo, but would require either the Driver/Blade duos to be set, too many animations/styles for each driver, or XC2's main party to get their oown styles Torna:TGC-like.
I made a roster of playable characters for Xenoblade Warriors and your idea is actually pretty damn similar to mine, with each slot having two characters acting as a duo, tho in mine it's sorta like Torna where one character does the Fighting and the other provides support and extra attacks. My roster is slightly different but is mostly the same. I limited my roster to 30 slots. 1. Shulk & Mecha Fiora (FR Shulk maybe as an extra fighting style, unsure if Homs Fiora would be in.) 2. Reyn & Sharla 3. Dunban & Riki 4. Melia & Tyrea (unsure if XC3 Melia would be an alt since she's pretty similar to to her XC1 version) 5. Kino & Nene 6. Kathos & "Milton" (some dumb OC characters I made since Warriors games like to make new characters, "Milton" is Mythra's son, named after Gormotti Milton, Kathos is a powerful artificial blade made to protect Origin, he aims to unite the three parties together to stop the New Villian after they stole Origin for their schemes.) 7. Rex & Pyra/Mythra (FR Rex as an alt fighting style maybe, Pneuma would work how she does in XC2, brief but potent buff, Monado lll & Lucky 7 would work similar to her) 8. Nia & Dromarch (XC3 and/or Blade Nia as an alt maybe, could mash them together.) 9. Tora & Poppi (All three forms would be mashed together.) 10. Morag & Brighid 11. Zeke von Genbu, the CHAOCTIC BRINGER OF CHAOS also known as Zeke, or the Zekenator, or Thunderbolt Zeke, or Crown Prince Ozychlyrus Brounev Tantal (Pandy's here too) 12. Vandham & Roc (would either die and be a post-game character, or Kathos pulls an Age of Calamity and saves him.) 13. Noah & Mio 14. Eunie & Taion 15. Lanz & Sena 16. Riku & Manana 17. I wuld wery likely bee a xeno worriers. They just have to more or less finish the xenoblade arc first and then topp off all of xenogears, xenosaga and xenoblade with one insane xeno worriors game
I guess I’d have to play it for the story, because I love Xenoblade more than anything… But Warriors gameplay is just sooooo mind-numbingly boring to me. As an alternate idea, I really wish they started making single franchise Smash games. I literally can’t imagine them making a bigger game than Smash Ultimate, so why not make a bunch of smaller games with more focused rosters and maps? And not just Xenoblade. Pokemon and Fire Emblem have enough cool characters to fill out a Smash roster too.
Didn't expect anyone to make a video on this! SPOILERS Even before Future Redeemed, I made a concept Challenge Battle where you could play as N as he destroys the Old City, similarly to Jin in the Ardainian Ship. I figured this would fit perfectly into a warriors game!
If we were to get q xenoblade warriors game id say it should be during the post game of xeno 1 and 2 and end with Shulk finding the Ontos core in the ocean and create a unique story of their meeting before they eventually did so and having lost those memories but not the bonds yhey made if it makes sense
Honestly, I would much prefer an original xeno-series entry with muso gameplay. Sure, it might be a black sheep of the series, similar to x, but I think it might be interesting. I mean, just look at how Persona 5 Strikers ended up. It was fun, unique, and still felt like a muso and a persona game. Takahashi said it himself: the next xeno-entry game will be much different than previous titles.
the roster will fill up with just the blades from XC2 and you're not the only one who's thought about this, ever since XC2 came up the Idea of a Xeno warriors has been tossed around, notice I said xeno, as in nintendo should reach an agreement with square enix and namco to allow them to used the other xeno properties xenogears and xenosaga.

I would find it funny if a Xenoblade Warriors came before an Final Fantasy one. Given the insanely large cast of that franchise. Gundam Dynasty Warriors is proof that that shit is a good time

I finished all of these Warriors games and even if I think it's fair to say Age of Calamity was a sort of bait, I can't help but find the story more interesting than what they produced before regarding the story with the Warriors games. I finished Three Hopes 2 times on 3 as well and I can say the story was pretty satisfying and honorable even if maybe not the best of all. Three Hopes did a surprisingly good job to me as well as Age of Calamity even if those 2 are parallel stories. I think when it comes to a Xenoblade Warriors game, the story is something they should be a minimum cautious with. A parallel story would be the easy way once more and I think it should be something canon to be worth it in the case of Xenoblade or they should just make the best of the previous games such as the first Fire Emblem Warriors and Hyrule Warriors. But if they choose the story focus route, it should be very well made according to the usual Xenoblade stories of course. Personally, I think the story a Xenoblade Warriors game should tell is the time of the first fight of Rex and Shulk against Alpha but also against Z since we can guess it roughly happened around the same time. It would also correspond to the moment both worlds collide and when everyone is sucked into Origin according to the few lines Linka says about the fact she, Panacea, Rex, Shulk and probably Riki, Melia and Nia survived it. It would tell the story of the fight of the protagonists of Xenoblade 1 and 2 against the recently born Moebius, X, Y and of course Z. Alpha would probably appear at the end as the surprising true final antagonist and we would play the first battle of Rex and Shulk against him and we know they said they somehow won against him for a time at the cost of an eye and an arm before his return in Future Redeemed. It would be a perfect way to clear the still very blurry missing parts of the whole Xenoblade story between Xenoblade 1 + 2 and Xenoblade 3. Even post Future Redeemed, I think some important things are still not clear enough to make a nice transition. A Xenoblade Warriors game would be the perfect way to mainly show the events we've never seen to link all the Xenoblade games together smoothly. It wouldn't require that much since we already more or less know what happened but it's still extremely vague. A Xenoblade Warriors game more focused on the war would fill the gap perfectly and would justify the devastated world of Aionios. Moreover, they could play on the nostalgia aspect as much as they want since Xenoblade 3 didn't give us that much in the end in that regard aside from the few returning characters and descendants. Making plenty of old characters return would be totally canon if they set the story at this moment in time. I think a Xenoblade Warriors game is the perfect last piece of Xenoblade content we need to finish this series perfectly. I know most people who don't want it are of course afraid of how qualitative the story would be. It would have to be a well-made canon story this time of course. Monolithsoft should definitely work on the story part I think as Nintendo did on the story of Age of Calamity. We can trust the Warriors team to make good fused gameplay between the Xenoblade and Warriors gameplays and to create badass over the top animations for the game at least. Continually using fan service and regurgitating the best moments and best characters throughout the series like the Fire Emblem series is against everything XB3 was saying in its narrative. They even said they wanted to move past Xenoblade as we know it and create something completely new. Like they were forced to do so in the past with XG in SE and XS in Bandai. We got Xenogears (albeit the 6 episode epic told in multiple mediums didnt come about due to Square Enix focusing only on FF), then Xenosaga (which had its own planned 6 episodes problems), the Xenoblade trilogy, and now with the Xenoblade name I hope they continue to look forward and make something entirely new, and perhaps complete XBX which was left on a sort of cliffhanger. I sincerely hope the Xeno series doesn't become sequel and spinoff bloated like so many IPs are nowadays, unable to create anything new and continually profiting off of past works. Warriors games like HW and FEW are really only used to pad out time between major series releases anyway. Most Xeno fans dont need padding in order to stay happy. There are many who still appreciate Xenogears and Xenosaga as if those games were released yesterday, with absolutely no promise of anything new coming from those series ever again considering where the creators are now. We can appreciate the past works without constantly having it regurgitated for profit and living in the endless now of the same stories and characters tossed in a kind of "content mill". I feel that a Warriors game would be a bad sign for the future of the meta-series.
I see where you're coming from. I just hope that if there will be a Xenoblade Warriors that it won't be too lore heavy and that they won't ruin the stories of all Xenoblade games + their side stories.
