I like the idea that Anakin convinces Yoda that the Jedi are SUPPOSED to protect everyone, not just the senators. I also love that Dooku sees himself in Anakin before landing the killing blow and essentially redeems himself by telling Anakin to help Yoda against Sidious while Dooku himself is spared and leaves to what I assume is better himself.
" For eight hundred years , screwed up the jedi have I " " Turned the jedi into a train wreck , I have . " " Heee heee heeee , a total failure I am . "
Anakin would embrace much more the dark side and use the force as a tool. Dooku and Anakin would Hunt and avenge Qui Gonn. They would be unstopable. They probably would act like Rogue Jedi and act aganist Republic when needed. Dooku would gain trust in a future for the Order and would still in the ranks to honor Qui Gonn. Or Sidious could corrupt both and make the Empire much more sooner.
What if Mace Windu trained Anakin. Think about it. Mace didn't trust Ani at first, most likely because he had the most accute "Dark Side Detector" sense of *ANY* Jedi ever, which in turn is most likely due to his Shatter Point sense. With Ani, here was *the* most almighty Shatter Point possible. Now imagine The Force guiding Yoda to make Mace take Ani as Padawan. They would learn to respect each other, even if they never learn to like each other. For Ani's part, he wouldn't be as good at it as Mace, but he *would* learn to sense Shatter Points, and more importantly would probably pick up on Mace's Vaapad, even if he was never directly taught it. Perhaps then Ani would start to notice that Palpatine was actively if subtly manipulating him. Perhaps he'd have the foresight to tell his Master Mace about it. Perhaps Mace *does* teach him proper Vaapad and how to acknowledge one's inner darkness while not being consumed by it. (Force knows Ani has quite a lot of inner darkness!) However else the Clone Wars go in this version, whether or not Ani and Padme are paired up and Luke & Leia are conceived, imagine the final confrontation of Sheev vs Mace & Ani. The concave mirror of Vaapad wielded by two who *know* how to use it, against the pinnacle of Sith knowledge and power.
I've thought about Mace training Ani alot and I always think about the same conclusion you did plus him learning vaapad. Palps wouldn't stand a chance against the two of them as Vaapad users.
@@Sun__God__Nika Right!? Anakin "Teh Chosen One" Skywalker learning Vaapad by the one who perfected it! Against the one who accidentally created that blonde vergence.
Qui Gon was undeniably the perfect Master for Anakin but Mace may have been the second best choice and an interesting choice as hell. It feels very vivid, risky, strong energies both right and left , can go both ways, but still may be the best and most balanced choice which Anakin needed, something neither Obi Wan nor Yoda could provide him.
@@Sun__God__NikaI agree. I think this would make Anakin extremely powerful yet still balanced. For sure I see the risk in it but still I see that choice as a potential to have avoided Anakin to get consumed by the Dark, something a Master like Yoda and Obi Wan could not provide.
@realBatman-89 Full potential anakin is definitely not Rey lol. Anakin had to train, he had to sacrifice and suffer, he wasn't born perfect and couldn't use the force , he needed training and reason , Rey is just amazing at everything, sue can do a hedi mind trick without training in the first movie, it tool Luke 5 years to get to that point. Even sidous needed training , only Rey could do everything with no training, she even dueled a Skywalker with a lightsaber with no training, actually could use the force to take things from him.
Palpatine easily kept the Jedi busy with republic missions. His success was due to the fact he had the Jedi stretched thin.. the Jedi sworn to protect the republic
This is interesting. If they believed in the chosen one Yoda would have been the one to personally train him. The fact that they truly saw Anakin as a slave or someone less, they gave him to be trained by someone "less than them". Shows the arrogance of Yoda and why they all failed.
Yoda had the longest time serving the Jedi, and was the grandmaster, so the heaviest blame for the systemic evils of the Jedi falls on him. I'm not saying he could have just magically fixed everything, but he should have to answer for how horrid everything was under his guidance. The council destroyed the Jedi more than order 66 did, the order died long before they expired.
That was brilliant! Thank you for the story. You really communicated how miserable Anakin was at first and I felt he should leave. I did not expect Anakin to have such words of wisdom that were not beyond him, yet could and did change so much. The progression from there felt natural, which made the Dooku appearance a surprise. His redemption was well paced, not immediate, and very natural as he was reminded of what he wanted, why he would have even thought to go down the dark path and return from it. Thank you for another wonderful story.
I really dig this one. Have you ever considered trying to flesh these stories out? Maybe do multiple parts with more detail and voice acting? I think it would be a really awesome idea.
@@Squiwwel_ not sure, I was thinking about that. Maybe Anakin senses his failure and takes a swipe at Obi-Wan out of spite? I was half asleep when I posted the comment, not even sure it would change much in the story lol
i don’t think he would’ve reached his full potential no matter who trained him by the time of rots but with yoda or mace he would me more powerful than he was in canon rots. that’s what i believe at least
I think he would've been more powerful but even easier to turn. Mace Windu was the best option even tho they got along the least Obi Wan was the second best option
Wow I'm impressed u pulled it off, personally after the clone Wars and growing up with star wars I started to truly distrust the lil green gremlin. But forcing Yoda to actually take the advice of child Anakin was brilliant, truly a masterstroke
I feel as if the presence of the clones at the end could lead to a follow up. Originally they didn't show up until years after the invasion of Naboo. The Trade Federation had shown a willingness to blockade and invade a Republic world, and that world had very little help from the outside. Palpatine declaring a new grand army years later after the conflict heats up again lends credibility to the troopers showing up. But with none of this in play (unless I'm mistaken) there's going to be questions. Many will accept an explanation such as the clone army being a defensive force against Separatist aggression. Yet without an active threat at play, there's going to be those who want answers which will include ambitious people. I could totally be missing something here. Say if I am, it wouldn't take many changes to make this into a viable scenario. Either in what if form or as a thought experiment.
This is what hurts the most, people like you love this franchise so rich in story. Then Disney go and totally ruin it. Instead of putting trust in people like. That was truly amazing my friend. No words can do it justice. Brought forth emotions about star wars is never have against thank you
What if Hayden and ewan mcgregor was sent to the Star Wars universe with the force powers of the characters they played and was sent to the clone wars or during the age of the empire
I do like how you got yoda to let Anakin be himself and have him away from Palpatine but I don't think sith Alchemy would work on a person who is on another planet.
@@idcgaming518 with exception to areas strong in the force. Sure that can be done or if your on the same planet ok but I don't think that could have happened to just anyone including Skywalker if he went to another planet far from Palpatine. Why didn't he do that with any other jedi.......could he? It just feels unnecessarily broken of an ability. I mean why not just have Palpatine do that with all the jedi?
The fourth video of the campaign: I wonder what you could cook up with this idea - "What if Anakin died in the Battle of Coruscant ?". I was personally interested in seeing what would happen if Anakin crashed into a munitions crate or something, dying in the cockpit of his crashed fighter. How would that affect Obi-Wan and Sidious's plans ? Maybe Dooku could finally convince Obi-Wan to join him, or something else. Perhaps with Dooku arrested, the Jedi order would believe him and stop Palpatine, either killing him or arresting him. For the Jedi, the prophecy of the Chosen One would turn out to have been wrong, but in reality, Anakin not living to join Sidious would've probably been a better fate for the galaxy. Alternatively, Sidious could perhaps still salvage the situation, making his empire stronger. I think it could be another 2 part episode.
Great redemption for Count Dooku! Pity no Padme in this timeline. Even if she and Anakin didn't hook up, I could see her being a great ally of Yoda's Reformed Jedi Order.
The premise here is all wrong. The idea that Anakin would be miserable because Yoda intentionally made him miserable just doesn’t play. The idea of the Anakin would be angry because a planet with trillions of people has poor folks and the Jedi aren’t attending to the poor people, as much as they are the galactic, movers and shakers, also doesn’t make any sense. Anakin has a rebellious personality, but he was a slave for his entire life. He definitely knows how to follow orders.
I've got 3: What if oppo rancis trained anakin. What if anakin met and fell in love with ventress just before the clone wars just after her masters death. What if anakin became a jedi sentinel like a watchmen or one of those who find younglings.
In my opinion, Anakin would have been a lot worse than Doku would have been given how much Anakin was attached to both his mother and Padme. Day 24 of my list. What if; Anakin never gave into his feelings for Padme, Aayla Secura was the chosen one and became Darth Talon, Shme Skywalker was adopted by the Tusken Raiders, Boba Fett saved his Tusken family, Count Dooku was a regular count for the CIS, Jabba the Hutt supported the Jedi at the Start of the Clone Wars, and finally, what if Sabine and Ezra fell in love? I also saw that your channel doesn’t have any other what if Anakin romantics, so here’s one. What if Anakin chose to stay on Zygerria with Miraj Scintel.
What if Anakin while on a mission with Obi-Wan when he was a padawan, found a sith temple. (maybe he gets separated from Obi-Wan in some planet and finds it by accident)
@@rebelbase3006 Oh I did not know that, although what I had in my was something more like, he finds a Sith relic or heirloom, like Nihilus or Revan's masks or Bane's lightsaber, you know something that would make him truly embrace the dark side. Another idea I had for a what if I had recently was what if in Anakin's quarters, there was a secret passage to the underground Sith temple in coruscant?
My only critique would be Anakin having a blue saber, with Yoda (or Qui-Gon for that matter) having a much deeper connection to the force than Obi-Wan i feel he would have imparted more knowledge of that aspect of the training leading to a green blade for Anakin.
What if anakin was piloting before attack of the clones and sensed ventress fall to the darkside as her master died and took his ship to the planet to investigate. Perhaps starting a romance as they are very similar in their stories. Also what if ahsoka taught ben skywalker as she saw him as history repeating itself. What if anakin was a jedi watchmen or wayfinder. What if anakin went with kenobi to face maul and savage instead of adi gallia. What if anakin fell in love with luminara or your own version of aayla secura romance.
What if Anakin secretly took dookus curved lightsaber after killing him and used it to fight obiwan on mustafar (maybe he secretly studied form 2 after taking it or something)
I think Yoda would’ve been even worse. He was the most dogmatic and rigid of the Jedi and wouldn’t offer the advice Anakin needed. Obi Wan wasn’t the perfect fit but he was more lenient with Anakin. Qui Gon was perfect for him though. Hell I think even Mace Windu would have been a better fit for Anakin than Yoda. Because at least he could teach him to channel and control his dark side tendencies
A great video overall. The idea of Yoda being wrong and Anakin making Yoda wiser and change his ways is trully on point. Essentially this is what led to the fall of the Jedi and the Republic. Yoda being slightly too passive, stringent and rigid. 100% agreed. But, Yoda wouldn't be losing to Palpatine in a duel, 1v1. 8 of 10 times. I would enjoy it more if Yoda were to sacrifice himself to aid Anakin win vs Dukoo, then alerting the Jedi order, and fighting down Palpatine as a group. Palpatine is a beast, intellectually and physically. If not for Yoda, it would take almost the full Jedi Council to take him down. Yes, Anakin is the chosen one, and biologically supreme. But he was always going to be in the shadow of the greateast Sith (Sidious) or the greatest Jedi (Yoda). However he was destined to complete his task of bringing balance to the force, a feat neither of them could. In this case, I see no need for Luke.. If Yoda was Anakins teacher and things played out as you mentioned in the video Anakin would essentially become Luke. Luke became Luke because of Yoda's teachings (which happened because of Anakin's fall)... And Anakin would become Luke only if he preemtively influenced Yoda... Anakin, Yoda, Palpatin, Qui Gon, and even Dukoo, are all crucial parts to the story.
What if evan piel became a mentor or second master to anakin. Or anakin became a healer either before or after his mother death could be related to his friendship with offee or alternatively what if he was trained by tra sa who taught windu and actually did not forbid attachment as shown by her relationship with tholme , they could become like a pseudo parents to anakin and train him away from the temple in azati martial arts and from trasa the living force as she is a plant lady so imagine anakin controlling plant life.
@@Cosmic_cosmentionvectivus: no murder. Anakin: why? Vectivus: this peoples are working force! Do you want to get rich or not? Anakin: the dark side? Vectivus:... control it. Don't let it control you. Anakin: alright....
Doesn't make a difference. The force needed the Jedi to fall and for a Jedi to destroy the Sith. Basically this was the reset button. Windu was the best choice for Anakin. Anakin is the Father's replacement so Vapaad would have allowed Anakin to explore his darkside but control it the way Windu does. If Windu was Anakins master I bet 10 to 1 everything plays out the same. Except 1, Anakin is as powerful by attack of the clones as he was in Revenge of the sith. 2, Windu chooses Anakin instead of Saesee Tiin to arrest Palpatine which causes Palpatine to call for order 66 as he senses Anakins decision.
Skill wise, yes, Mace would have been the best match for Anakin's teacher. Otherwise, Mace was not the best fit. He had multiple character flaws which would not have lead to a balanced Anakin. It is the main issue with most of the Jedi order.
Nice video, but I think Anika would been a stronger lightsaber fighter, since Yoda would make him stronger and he would have also been able to to block force lightning. Yoda would have give him all his skill.
@@thestarwarsgalaxy oh ok, I wasn’t sure if they were AI generated, or if you got them from a website. Thanks for letting me know. Also, love your content, keep up the great work.
15:39 you see your lore is a bit broken here . In revenge of the sith sidious tried to run away from yoda due to him knowing he would get bested and if it was stated that if they fought on a open terrain yoda would have won , and yoda did get the better of sidious in that duel . So yoda would have won this especially with this being before the clone wars making him stronger
I think Quigon was the most suited to train Anakin, cause he had vastly different views regarding the force. If Quigon had survived Anaking would have reached his full potential from his training.
