I had a ballet rehearsal yesterday and half way through out performance the fire alarm went of and we all had to run out side with either flats or bare feet and the fire department came. Turns out it was the smoke machine.....
Gen Lake At least it wasn’t that cold, at my high school some dumbass made the fire alarm go off mid (canadian) winter and everyone had to stay outside on a -16ºishC snowy day for an hour WITHOUT WINTER JACKETS (and the teachers had theirs on! hello? hypothermia?)(sorry I got carried on)
Last year I did my first ballet competition, and while I was in the bathroom stall, using the toilet, the fire alarm went off! And that has always been one of my biggest fears, having a fire alarm go off while I'm peeing! So turns out it was because some idiot was smoking in the bathroom!
I have really straight(and oily) hair and for me getting it a little wet and using a ton of bobby pins(as well as those big bobby pins) really helps to keep it up
Hair gel helps too but I find that using it everyday can make your hair really dry and personally it gives me get dandruff so...-_- , if really varies for each person so you just need to find out what works and if double netting does then keep up with it sis! :)
I’m also a competitive myself and to be honest, I hate glue on lashes. I’ve started using magnetic one and they are literally a lifesaver l. I think you can get a pack of them for like 30 bucks and there reusable. There’s 2 lashes for each eye. You separate the and put the designated lash underneath you natural one and the other in on top and they snap together. When you don’t you just gently pull them off and put them back in the case. There amazing
I'm already at the Dutch National Ballet's academy, but I really want to do YAGP anyway, just to see what it would be like or if I could win anything. I'm 13 years old, so I'm old enough to enter. . . I just don't know if my school allows us to enter competitions, and I'm too nervous to ask, haha.

I almost always wear red lipstick on stage unless it's a doll type role, like for Coppélia or something, in which case I might wear a pinkish color. But as far as what you "should do" I usually suggest whatever you look best in I mean that's the best you can do 🙂

What dance school do you go to? I am a dancer and am thinking that the school I am in isn’t pushing us enough and I’m looking for a more strict/hard school
