That's not what I thought needed to be done, just to clarify. Italians living here in America , I mean, the Jews owe a great debt of gratitude for they Italians coming to there rescue & defeating Hitler. How could the America government betray or disrespect the Italian people & have hearings & question the loyalty of Italians to America.

Taxi Driver. My first time watching it, I felt that there was something about it that was unique, so I watched it over and over again to try and figure out why I thought it was unique. I fell in love with the movie, and it became my favorite film. I can never understand why it was so unique to me though
There's more important Scorsese films in terms of cinema history but my favourite is After Hours because it's so simple in story but grounded by atmosphere, a short Oz like film dream we awaken from and get on with our lives like Griffin Dunne; Plus the lesson for filmmakers about shooting more with less (not his first time re-learning this) is something filmmaker's should learn happens at every level and is only part of the process of failing forwards. Close second is The Color Of Money for similar reasons.
Killers of the Flower Moon is the best film of the decade. The Irishman was the best film of the 2010s (or The Wolf of Wall Street) The Departed was the best film of the 00s GoodFellas was the best film of the 90s Raging Bull was the best film of the 80s Taxi Driver was the best film of the 70s
ITS DEFINITELY EYE OPENING WHEN YOU TRULY GRASP HOW BORROWED OUR TIME REALLY IS AND TO UNDERSTAND THAT 70% OF US WILL NEVER TAKE THE TIME TO THINK ABOUT IT AT ALL…. MAKES ME WANT TO JUST APPRECIATE THERE LIVES FOR THEM BECAUSE THEY ARE OBLIVIOUS.
IF YOU TALKED TO PEOPLE INSTEAD OF BELIEVING EVERYTHING YOURE TOLD, YOU WOULD KNOW MOST PEOPLE BESIDES CHILDREN KNOW THEYRE ON BORROWED TIME. cant you turn your caps off?
The CCC factory overlooks the cemetery, and that juxtaposition is as disjointed as you infer. That contrast highlights the futility of petty violence and the tragedy of waste that is the ending of lives. The "What was it all for?".
Perhaps you feel that nothing matters, and that it's all meaningless. Perhaps you care enough to comment. Either is a reasonable conclusion. Embracing such ideas let's one cross over from nihilism to absurdism. If there is no meaning, I find my own, or look elsewhere.
