Great video as always:) quick question. Is umbrella branding used interchangeably with brand extension? as I always thought umbrella branding was the definition you’ve given brand extension, where a master brand for example Apple has sub brands such as IPhone, IMac, IPad ect?👌🏼

I think they had done such a great job placing themselves as the premier oral hygiene company that the public just couldn't wrap their heads around Colgate selling frozen food. I don't think any amount of marketing would have changed that association in people's minds.
