Back 15 years ago when I use to cross stitch, I would just weave my needle into the fabric if I had to step away. I never even thought twice about losing my needle. 🤔 A needle minder is a good idea for sure! Better to be safe, than sorry as you know. Tfs

When I get the Mandie Manzano (your Friends of Maiden artist) canvases, I replace the clear plastic with parchment paper.

I’m new to diamond painting but what is magnetic about the canvas that allows the cover minder to stick?

I was wondering the same thing but I believe that there is a second magnet that goes with the Cover Minder. You put it under the canvas, or as someone said up above, you can put it on a light board. So, you put one on the back and your Cover Minder on the front. I think. I just watched this as I didn't know how people were using magnets either.

I bought a set of cover minders, but they are so lightweight they don't anything down...they just slide around. Help...I'm not understanding how to use these.

Are they magnetic? They are meant to have a magnet underneath your project and the minder on top
