It is this is fascinating, I who had a thesis on DMT and 3D geodata models in general, I especially like how you packaged it all because I know how wide and deep, interdisciplinary, the field of 3D geodata models is. Especially useful is the way you showed how filtering DSM (digital surface model) works in order to obtain DTM (digital terrain model) from it, by moving an excavator! Thanks, nice video!! The difference between DTM & DSM is very clear. But I was wondering what distinguishes DTM from DEM? Is DTM a specific type of DEM that also contains non-spatial data (i.e. soil properties & drainage path)?
