I work at a fabric shop. When we cut fat quarters we cut 1/2 yard and then turn it to cut that into two pieces. But we don’t necessarily cut right on that fold because sometimes when factories fold it the selvages don’t line up. If we would cut on that fold then one of the fat quarters would be smaller than the other. So we line up the selvages and then cut in half. Great tutorials for beginners!! ❤

First news, it's the best explanation I've ever heard. I make an effort to use inches because in my country we use the decimal metric system, and it was very difficult for me to understand what they meant by fat quarters. Your videos are really very very educational . 👍
