Spot on! I would perhaps add that most Fiduciaries are dually registered: both a Fiduciary AND a Broker, and they can switch at will. A TRUE fiduciary (only abt 2% of the 310,000 "advisors" in the US) is obligated by law to help clients get the best bang for their buck, the other advisors/brokers (98%) are not. Given two identical investments available, but one has 2% more fees (often hidden), a true fiduciary must recommend the one with the lower fees because that provides clients 2% higher returns which in turn can mean twice as much in retirement. A TRUE Fiduciary with real acumen is your best choice every time!
