I have been waiting for an MSL video! I like the analogy that MSLs are the professors for pharmaceutical companies :) Also, I think you will make a wonderful MSL given your outstanding presentation and interpersonal skills. Living in Europe as a foreigner, I've learned that MSL roles also require fluency in a native European language (French in my case) and English. If I return to the US, it would be my dream job.

It’s fairly common now to see Advanced Practice Nurses/Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants in the MSL role these days. It’s one of the examples of a masters prepared MSL.
So then would I be able to get my DNP and get a concurrent biotechnology or biomedical minor and do a medical liaison career? I just emailed an advisor, I have my BSN currently but really want to help with research using biotechnology/biomedical science. Of course evidence based medicine that is unbiased is of utmost importance!
@@stephanied7037 I have no idea what BSN or DNP is (I'm from Belgium). Perhaps your question is targeted to David Queen? In general, like I mentioned in the video, and like David mentions, the option to get into MSL with an M.Sc is possible in some cases :)
Hi! A month ago I finished a master's degree in Medical Science Liaison and I have a bachelor's degree in Pharmacy. I always read in all the offers from my country (Spain) that I need experience. Do you know of some small companies where it can be purchased? I am not planning to study a PhD in Pharmacy, as I would like to quickly enter the job market. Do you think that starting with a sales representative position I could get this job more easily? What do you recommend me? Thanks
Hi there Enrique! To be honest, I think my best recommendation would be to contact the MSL soicety for this with your question. I don't have MSL contacts directly in my network, and especially not one's that I would know of that don't have a PhD. I hope you will find your answer!

From what I've understood from my own research into the job role, it's indeed a good thing to network with people who are already in the field :) Good luck!
Well, a good starting point is to locate the top universities per country, and usually you can find tech parks in close proximity...usually there are many start-ups there, for instance new biotech or pharma. On the other hand you can look up where big pharma (or medical device companies) have huge hubs... It's not ALWAYS close to a 'well known' or 'larger' city, but generally it is...

Hi there! I don't have a clue actually! To see country details on msl society you need to be a member (which costs membership fees). My best advice is to look-up on a database like payscale (US) or Glassdoor, but then for India specific ;)
