What is a Proper Full Finish - Rethinking What a Full Finish Is 

i have had left knee injury from golf and i do over rotate like you show. i'm going to take this to heart and try it out and expend all the energy towards the ball/target. thank you for this!

As I move to the finish on a full shot with a longer iron or a wood, I like the feeling of the clubshaft moving up and to the left at about a 45 degree angle, with the right wrist moving to flat or even a little arched and the left wrist moving to extension. Both elbows will be straight just after P9 and the wrists will be starting to recock. This type of release gives me more distance than a push hold release where the right wrist stays bent and the shaft leans to the right at the finish ( I might use the shorter push hold release with a shorter club like a pitching wedge).

I remember flicking on Channel 5 USA after school back in 2006 and found the farmers insurance open at Torrey Pines and was watching Tiger Woods and Brandt Snedeker Duke it out and they were doing the long arm finishes and holdoffs alot. Now I know of this since I was 12 back then this is deeply interesting.
