Have you noticed a growing number of ads discussing Ketamine or MDMA assisted therapy? With the rapid increase in demand for mental health services, alternative therapies are being re-evaluated. What does this mean for us as therapists?
For our October 2022 Third Thursdays for Therapists Event, we heard the insights from a mental health provider who offered alternative therapies for mental health and well-being. We discussed how Ketamine and MDMA support patients, and the struggles with being a newly approved therapeutic service. It’s an important area for mental health providers to be aware of as alternative medicine becomes increasingly more popular.
