Took it for granted that one learns taala by rote. Can't imagine learning a taala without vocalising. Will watch with interest for your notation scheme. ধা ধিন ধিন ধা =?

Its called Taal and Raag, not tala and raga. Please correct your pronunciation and stop Westernizing everything and ruin/downgrade the word.

There are many who would disagree with you. The terms are interchangeable, and how we pronounce them does not change the music. The main thing is that the message gets communicated and people understated what is meant to be conveyed. We are communicating in English right now are we not? Thanks for commenting. Regards
