There are other reasons zigzag connected transformers might be used, but I decided not to go over these in the video since I thought it was long enough already.

Quick question, do you have an idea what the line to line voltages would look like? I suspect near the peak, due to the added phase shift they would have a wiggle instead of the sinusoidal shape we're all used to. Or if you know of someone who measured one with a scope, that would be ideal. Thanks
how about triplet harmonic affects for a zigzag connection. Im pretty sure its purpose is not solely load balancing. Btw its often called grounding transformer or grounding bank. There has to be some analysis for short circuit situation etc. Please reply
