When I was a child, there was a program where children and teens could apply to help during the holidays to help mountain farmers out. for 1 or 2 weeks we lived with the farmer family and get up before dawn, work those fields, feed the animals and so on. Wonder if this still exists now
I've just moved to Switzerland (Valais) in the past week; great to now see everything you've been sharing with us on this channel in person, even with the differences between Romandy and where you live!
Really enjoying this series but happen to notice your NH 603 plaque in the background. Love it! Grew up there! We recently visited CH and based from Interlaken. The best way I could describe it in one sentence was "NH on steroids"!
The alps, in combination with the grass eating, milk producing cows, enabled the Swiss to harvest these steep meadows and make cheese😊 Early form of automation😅Thanks for the video
