Man, the comments are brutal. I would agree with the idea that it is absolute BS to push to electric. But the point of the video was to educate on this type of furnace. The video did that very well. It presented information I didn't know, concisely. I will be sticking with my gas furnace, but I appreciate the time you spent to inform us! Well done!
i mean, to each their own.... but i love having the ability to hook my gas furnace up to my generator and still having whole house heating... on the account gas furnaces dont take much electricity to run, biggest draw is the fan..
Your not wrong. But there is a push to electrify everything these days especially in our province of NL. I think everyone should be prepared for power failure and not stick all your eggs in one basket.
I agree completely with you. Governments are offering incentives for people to switch to electric but I don't think its wise to have all the eggs in one basket.
There are improvements over what was out years ago. The new stuff tends to be smarter and make better use of the electricity it burns. Years ago all the elements came on and now we have units like this granby that only turns on what it needs. Be step forward.
