An estuary is a place where water from the ocean and water from the land mixes together. Each bay in Tillamook County is a little different, but they are all estuaries where freshwater and saltwater meet. Learn why estuaries are so special, what animals and plants you may find there, how they survive, and how estuaries change over time! Join Bel, a Belted Kingfisher living near Netarts Bay, as she shares about the estuaries and bays within Tillamook County along the Oregon coast.
Developed as a learning tool for first graders, this video is great for all ages!
