It's really my first time hearing about this expense ratio. Thanks for sharing this great and informative video. This was Maxwell Mundaka here again to show some supports. Hoping to watch more of your videos 🙏
looking for some wisdom on expense ratio and ran into you. i am just starting to invest with vanguard and i have bought a few ETFs and a couple Stocks. There are expense ratio for my ETFs but not for Stocks. However, all of the expense ratios are under 1%. This is definitely a long term investment. will i be making money at all with all these expense ratios? i don't know, i feel like is a dumb question. - thanks in advance-
Absolutely if you are doing this for the long-haul. It sounds like your ETFs are very reasonable and a good option. If you look at ETF’s that follow an index for example those have virtually no expense ratios and some may have none since they just follow the market index. I would avoid bond ETF’s personally if you are looking for the most bang for your buck. Otherwise invest and keep doing it. Diversify your holdings and be sure you have a good understanding of what you own. If you don’t understand it, don’t own it! Warren Buffet preaches that a lot. Thank you for the comment/question!
