KSID bachelor's is a common design program so ningalku thanne initiative eduthu graphic design side pokanam. In post graduation they have interactive communication design.

What is the difference Bdes in animation design and bsc in animation

I'd say on the surface they are 3 and 4 year courses. BDes means it comes under design and BSc comes mostly under the arts field. For a design oriented approach bdes is better and for a arts style one bsc might be.

No there isn't math and programming in the industrial design curriculum. It is design oriented where u will have skill and studio oriented courses

Yes, entrance exams undu like ceed, uceed and dat for colleges like IIT and NID. Other colleges have their separate design tests also. Depending on your choice of college u have to write those tests for admissions.

Hi. First of all congratulations. Nift as u know is all over India, they have a lot of branches and lots of alumni. Iftk as u know is more Kerala based which is in technical collaboration with nift.

As far as I know I dont think there are any private colleges that offer B.Des. But in the upcoming years there might be a few. Fees varies from each institution to another and you will have to check at their official websites.

Hi, according to NID's admission criteria you are eligible for the MDes program if u have completed a 10+2+ 3 year degree course. I'd request you to check in the admission criteria of the specific institutes

Usually bdes is mostly in Product and Industrial design and rarely in car design. U can do transportation work in these courses. Vehicle or mobility or transportation design is usually offered as a master's or PG program.

Hi Hashir, in BDes there are various courses like product design, furniture and interior design, ceramic design, fashion design and so on depending upon the college or institute. You will have to go to their official webpages and check out the details.

Yes. BDes is a design course where you will learn the basics of design for the first year and then get into the specification. 2nd year thottu nammuku specialise cheyan ulla options undu in most cases.

Hi @M.Sinan. BDes learn cheyan after +2 mathi. Njan suggest cheyuka aanengil kurachu sketching and design related reading are always good. There is a video of mine that talks about design colleges in Kerala and other states, pls do check it out.
