Thank you. When she finds out what is the preferred treatment you can watch one of those videos on the specific treatment so she knows exactly what the procedure entails. We also have videos on how to prepare for surgery and for the after-surgical care. Good luck.

This discussed how the sun is a factor but what if it’s not in an exposed area, how does it originate?
@DoctorpediaYT
@DoctorpediaYT 3 года назад
Great question. Most of us get a lot of sun exposure when we are kids and are outside. Since sun damage takes decades to manifest in skin cancers, ... Sometimes an area gets a skin cancer that was not exposed to any sun, or chemicals, or trauma and then the cancer is likely a result of genetics.

I would be really glad if you answer my questions:) : How to know the main difference of bcc to a pimple? And so, is it really dangerous that i need to rush to a doctor?
@DoctorpediaYT
@DoctorpediaYT 3 года назад
A pimple should go away in a couple weeks. If it has been present for a couple months, it is most likely not a pimple.

Treated Sq.Cell on chin with home remedies, there is a round scar tissue now with a sunken middle. Round scar tissue changed and turned into a flower pedal. What causes this change? How could the sunken space be filled in? Thanks for any info

Can you get BCSC from shaving? After shaving around a 6 weeks ago I developed a nasty razor bump. It is still there and wont go down even after pulling the hair out.

My 95 year old grand mother has basal cell c in her nose. Her cognitive functions are quite deteriorated, but otherwise she has good health. Is surgery the best option?
@DoctorpediaYT
@DoctorpediaYT 3 года назад
I do not know all of the details but it would seem that perhaps Superficial Radiation Therapy is a better option. I do have a video on this treatment to help with the decision. My thoughts are with you both.

My wife was diagnosed with BCC yesterday on her nose. I'm really worried. Can it be fatal?
@Melanie____
@Melanie____ Год назад
They grow slow so If left for ages yes but unlikely to get to that stage without you noticing and going to your GP. Early detection is ideal because a smaller incision will be required. I’d say your wife will be fine.

What about skin cancer on the chest?
@DoctorpediaYT
@DoctorpediaYT 3 года назад
Same as all other areas. Chest is prone to skin cancer since it is often exposed to the sun.
