I am an absolute beginner; I am curious to know how I can create a virtual environment in python to be able to use the BigQuery library for SQL. I need a step-by-step guide
The docs are located here: cloud.google.com/bigquery/docs And Leigha Jarett has been releasing weekly blog posts focused towards BigQuery admins. They are linked from the RU-vid description starting with episode 11 of this series: goo.gle/BQSpotlight
just going to point out that there is a server hosting this internally within google, it is a managed service but that doesn't mean it is server-less. If it is a service running in the cloud, somewhere there will be a server hosting it, as a user you just don't need to deal with that. Big query uses oath2.0 and thus it has a auth and resource server and special rules for working with them if you develop your own integrations that work with it so saying it is server-less is imo very misleading.
