MidwayUSA, your comments are locked on the latest dovetailing video. I was hoping to have a good chat about the process, but she's all locked up. The checkering tools are hard to replace individually & veiners are impossible to replace. I never seem to get a chance to get a new one as even the less favorable of the brands is sold out too. Here's a question that's been eating at me for a while. Any gunsmith willing spitball this idea, go right ahead! Anyone see a problem with machining are rail down the top of the Mosin Nagant hex receiver for mounting a scope? While I enjoy using it and hunting with it & enjoy the stock form; however, aesthetics come second only to function. I would grab it more if this is in fact possible.

I feel like todays lasers would make this incredibly sophisticated. I’m not sure I want to know how much the machine would cost though 😂

Lines per inch ffs. Can you Americans please learn the metric system. It is a lot cooler and I don't have to think of fractions and try to figure out what the imperial decimal size is. What is the decimal size of 51/64" in decimal without getting a calculator?
