I'm just starting to learn web development and started a project on codepen but my problem is when I use the image tag it won't show up on the display and can't find out why. Please help me
Matthew Smith you have to be a pro member to upload images. The other way is to just use a placeholder image service or just upload your images else where and add an absolute reference to them in your src attribute. So you'd have src="your website.com/image.jpg" This is a placeholder website placeholder.com/ or you could upload to something like here imgbb.com/ and link to from there or you could use Dropbox etc.
Ben Talks when I look at the pro it have 3 package I can choose from. So if I choose starter which is like $8 a month will it allow images to show or do I have to pick developer?
If I had to take a guess I think it would allow it. By why not get a free account with them and host your images on Imgur and link your images externally?
I desperately needed a tool like this! Am a beginner with too much information and tutorials coming my way so to apply them all on visual studio code was kinda hard and it interfered with ehat i originally planned to do , a marginal spare sheet like this is really helpful

Hi Mitchell, glad to see you are starting out on your journey and I wish you the best of luck. Just take it one day at a time and don't try and run before you can walk. Learning anything new can be overwhelming at times but take it slow.
It's a addon called Emmet. You can add it to programs like VScode or Sublime Text, but it also works on codepen. You just need to type out your html and hit tab and emmet fills in the rest for you, but look it up! It's an awesome tool that saves loads of time.
