It has its advantages too where the ash particles from the boiler are ionized and use the hammer to lower them to the ash tray where they can be removed from the boiler. In power generation

Thank you for your question, yes ionized air is an electrical conductive air, and we can have with high level of voltages that breakdown air

we use corona discharge to treat paper so varnishes and dies would adhere better to it. I really love that blue glow

To be electrocuted you have to be close to the cable and at the same time you have to close the circuit by touching the ground with your feet,, and this at normal condition will never happen
